Try one of these Fun Activities Outside of the Parks

When it comes to Disney World vacations, the parks usually come to mind. However, there are so many fun activities at Disney World on non-park days! Sometimes, it’s nice to take a park break and go explore the other things Disney World has to offer! Here are a few of my favorite things to do outside of the theme parks.

Bowling at Splitsville

Disney Springs is a great place to explore! It is home to tons of shops, restaurants, and even a fun bowling alley! Splitsville Luxury Lanes also had a full menu of delicious items, definitely not your typical bowling alley food! Splitsville provides a fun atmosphere.

Horseback Riding at Tri-Circle-D Ranch

This is one of my favorite fun activities to do at Disney World, and many people don’t even know about it! For $55 per person, tweens, teens, and adults can take a relaxing scenic ride along the wooded trails at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground. For guests under age 9, guided pointy rides are available!

Mini Golf

There are actually two mini-golf courses at Walt Disney World Resort! Winter Summerland and Fantasia Gardens are both right on Disney property and offer fun for the whole family. Courses are typically open from 10 am to 10 pm and cost $14 per adult and $12 per child. The courses are of course wonderfully themed!

Explore Another Resort

Another one of my favorite fun activities that doesn’t involve the parks is exploring a resort I’ve never stayed at! Right now, Disney is discouraging guests from “resort hopping” due to covid restrictions. However, if you book an advanced dining reservation, you are more than welcome to explore the resort before or after your meal! This is a great way to see all that Disney has to offer and explore a resort on your Disney bucket list.
