Let the Good Times Roll! Mardi Gras: International Flavors of Carnaval Returns to Universal Orlando Resort
Laissez les bons temps rouler, because the beads, beats, and beignets are back! Universal Orlando has officially announced the return of Universal Mardi Gras: International Flavors of Carnaval, running February 7 through April 4, 2026, at Universal Studios Florida.

This fan-favorite spring celebration brings the Big Easy to the Sunshine State with nightly parades, live concerts, and incredible international cuisine — and best of all, it’s included with park admission or an Annual Pass (with blockout dates for Seasonal Passholders).
Guests can look forward to a vibrant street party atmosphere, complete with elaborately themed floats inspired by New Orleans traditions, costumed performers, and (of course) mountains of flying beads. Each year, Universal’s award-winning Art & Design team dreams up a brand-new parade theme, turning every float into a moving masterpiece.

And it’s not just about catching beads — it’s about catching flavors. The “International Flavors of Carnaval” food booths will return to line the park’s streets, serving up authentic Cajun creations alongside bold global bites. Think jambalaya, empanadas, jerk chicken, churros, and more, with cocktails and mocktails to match. The culinary lineup changes yearly, so it’s the perfect excuse for multiple visits (your taste buds will thank you).

On select nights, the Music Plaza Stage transforms into a concert hotspot, hosting major artists across pop, rock, and country genres. The 2026 lineup hasn’t been revealed yet, but if past years’ headliners like LL Cool J, Becky G, and Goo Goo Dolls are any indication, the party’s going to be louder than a brass band on Bourbon Street.
Even after the parade ends, the good times keep rolling over at Universal CityWalk, where participating venues will offer Mardi Gras-inspired bites and beverages. Whether you’re staying at a Universal hotel or just dropping by for the night, the celebration extends well beyond the park gates.
