There is a hidden gem over at Fort Wilderness Campground and it is called the Tri-Circle-D Ranch. If you are looking for an escape from the hustle and bustle of the parks this is a great place to explore. There are activities for everyone including Horseback Riding, pony rides, and carriage rides. If you are not interested in getting up on a horse, you can stroll the stables where Cinderella’s white horses are housed. Meet with the blacksmith and watch him fit the horses and prepare the beautiful horses for their march down Main Street. There are many breeds of horses at the stables so there is a lot to learn and see.
If your little one is feeling adventurous, there are pony rides available for $8. The 25 minute pony ride is open to children who are at least 2 years old, under 48″ tall and weigh less than 80 pounds. Pony rides take place from 10 A.M. to 5 P.M and are located near Pioneer Hall.
For the slightly older crowd, there are 45 minute trail rides available. Wagon rides are available for the whole family to enjoy right from Pioneer Hall.
