So now that you are all booked and counting down to your next Magical Vacation at Walt Disney World, when does the actual planning begin? You want Dining Reservations, Fast Passes, and Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique! When can you start? Some things play a part in the planning, some don’t!
First, you can call or go onto your My Disney Experience to set up your vacation. (Or your Travel Agent)
Reservations
If you’re looking for Dining, BBB, tours etc. can be made 180 days out. If you’re staying on property, you can book Dining Reservations (ADRs) at 180 days out! If you’re not staying on property you can book Dining Reservations (ADRs) at…. 180 days out! Park Hours should also be released 180 days out, but they are subject to change, so just keep an eye out. This you can start making online at 6am or call in at 7am (EST)
Yes, whether you stay on property or not, all Reservations, such as Dining, BBB, tours etc. can be made 180 days out. (what’s why you should keep an eye out for reservations you missed, until right before you go on vacation, people will cancel and end up not going on a trip they were hoping to)
Fast Pass+
The difference comes in for Fast Passes. If you stay on property, you can make Fast Pass selections 60 days in advance. If you are not staying on property you can book 30 days in advance. Now this one you can actually start reserving at midnight. UNLESS a park is still open, so if you can’t set them up yet, just check the hours of the parks (usually MK) and see when it closes. Don’t panic. Then once it’s closed, you can go on and set them up.
Staying on property may not make a huge difference when planning your vacation, but the big ‘ Must Have’ FP go quick and don’t forget all the other benefits of staying on property as well. Extra Magic Hours, Free Transportation, Disney feel, Location, just to name a few.
Now you know! Hope this helps for your upcoming Magical Vacation!
