Question: Where can I go for a nice steak dinner in Walt Disney World?
Answer: MMM Steak! One of my favorite meals and I’m always looking for a good place to find one. Walt Disney World is home to several restaurants where you can find a great steak.
My favorite one is Yachtsman Steakhouse, located at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort. This signature dining experience (2 Table Service credits if you are on the Disney Dining Plan) is open for dinner and features a number of steak options ranging from 8oz. to 32oz.- perfect to fill bellies after a busy day in the parks. A number of scrumptious side dishes are also featured, along with soups, salads, appetizers, and don’t forget…DESSERT!
Another one of my favorites is located in Epcot in the Canada Pavilion at Le Cellier. Also a signature dining experience, Le Cellier features a number of steak options, and you may also find items like ribs, duck, chicken, and seafood on the menu. Appetizers, side dishes, and desserts round out the menu at this popular spot for World Showcase travelers. Le Cellier is open for lunch and dinner.
Off the beaten path, Jiko- The Cooking Place at Animal Kingdom Lodge features an oak-grilled filet mignon that is to die for! Pair this with the white cheddar macaroni and cheese and your taste buds will thank you. This signature dining location is open for dinner.
Shula’s Steak House, located at Walt Disney World’s Dolphin Resort, is known for it’s steak offerings and you can find close to 10 different options to satisfy your hunger. The menu also features lobster, chicken, and other land and sea entrees. This restaurant is not a participant in the Disney Dining Plan, but, is worth it in my opinion for a great dinner!
Another option will be available in Spring 2015 at The Landing at Disney Springs. STK Orlando will be opening and this dining experience will feature two levels of dining, including a rooftop dining area. This “modern day steakhouse meets ultra chic lounge” venue makes for a truly unique dining experience. I can’t wait to try this one!
