It’s Halloween season at Walt Disney World. This Fall guests are in for a real treat at Magic Kingdom at the Walt Disney World Resort. From Sept. 15 to Oct. 31 guests can soak up the magic of Autumn with beautiful decor and seasonal offerings.
Here’s where you can find all the Halloween action at Disney this year!
Boo to You at Magic Kingdom
The Magic Kingdom offers pumpkin displays along Main Street each year. Guests can observe these decorations as they enter the theme park. Choosing to put them up would certainly brighten everyone’s Halloween spirit.
We acknowledge how the Magic Kingdom won’t be showing this parade given the social distancing parameters. However, the Magic Kingdom is currently offering special “character cavalcades” instead of parades for entertaining guests. These character cavalcades are randomized appearances of individual floats traveling down the parade route. For this year, you’ll find four special Halloween character cavalcades:
- Nightmare Before Christmas
- Disney Villains
- Mickey Mouse and Friends
- Winnie the Pooh and Friends
The Disney Villains are iconic and quite popular among fans, plus seeing Jack Skellington is a treat for his fans!
For the first time ever guests of all ages can wear their funniest, Disney-ist, most creative costumes during Magic Kingdom regular operating hours from Sept. 15 to Oct. 31. However, some costume rules still apply. Costume masks are not permitted for adults; only children younger than 14 years old are permitted to wear costume masks. In addition, all guests are required to wear approved face coverings during their visit.
The Halloween spirit is also in the air over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, where Minnie’s Halloween Dine is set to return to Hollywood & Vine, beginning September 25. A monster feast will be served to your table, and favorite Disney friends will make special appearances in the restaurant. You can wave and snap photos of your hostess, Minnie Mouse, dressed as a happy witch. Goofy is coming as a spooky cowboy, with Mickey Mouse as a funny vampire, and his best pal, Pluto, gets into the act wearing a cute Halloween collar.
This season wouldn’t be complete without spooktacular treats!
Treats
New spooky Halloween treats are starting to materialize at Disney Springs!
The Walt Disney World Resort just went into full fall mode and we are loving it! From the decorations to the delicious treats, this season is un-BOO-lievably good for sure!
Halloween Merchandise
Of course, you will want to pick up a seasonal souvenir. Featured items include a new spirit jersey, Loungefly backpack, and candy-swirl Minnie Mouse headband, along with a selection of apparel inspired by Disney Villains and more.
The new merchandise highlights some of of our favorite Halloween films (Hocus Pocus), while others show Mickey and friends in costume for the season.
There’s new Mouse Ears with a candy design. It’s a sweet way to show your Disney side and be festive for the Fall season. Will you be adding any new seasonal merchandise to your Halloween collection?
