Who is Scoop Sanderson and Where Can I Find Him?

Whether you are new to Disney pin-trading or a full force pin-thusiast, you need to know about Scoop Sanderson! I was given the inside ‘scoop’ about 3 years ago when a friend asked me if I had ever found Scoop? I had no idea who she was talking about so I had to investigate.

Scoop Sanderson is a Main Street U.S.A. character who is considered the ‘Joyful Ambassador of Main Street’ and Pinthusiast. His official title is Main Street Gazette Reporter however, everyone knows him as the guy to find when you want to trade pins! The best time to find him is early morning right at rope drop. He will be taking a morning stroll down Main Street greeting visitors and spreading magic with his smile. He will be dressed in his turn-of -the Century reporter garb and will be trading pins with visitors old and young.

If you are lucky enough to meet him, be sure to show your pin trading enthusiasm because some lucky people have been given a special pin directly from his secret collection! Even if you are not a huge pin trader, finding Scoop is really a great experience. He simply makes you smile with his stories and interactions. He is not available all day and if you are really set on finding him, don’t be afraid to ask a cast member when and where he will show up. They should be able to tell you where he will be appearing next!

Main Street is magical in so many ways and Scoop Sanderson adds to the magic with his smile and charm. So go forth and trade!
