Will Epcot’s Harmonious end on March 31st?

At the D23 Expo this past weekend, Disney announced that a new nighttime show will be coming to Epcot next year! The current nighttime spectacular, HarmonioUS, first debuted with the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration. Could this announcement mean that HarmonioUS will end on March 31 with the anniversary celebration?

Two nighttime shows arrived at Disney World with the 50th anniversary celebration; HarmonioUS at Epcot and Disney Enchantment at Magic Kingdom. While Disney Enchantment hasn’t received much love from guests and Disney fans, HarmonioUS has quickly become a fan-favorite show!

Disney has not announced an end date for HarmonioUS and has said that the new show coming to the park will debut in “late 2023“. “As we look ahead to the future and the celebration of the Walt Disney Company’s 100^th anniversary, we’re excited to share that a new nighttime spectacular is in the works for EPCOT. The new show is currently in development and will debut late next year, carrying on the park’s legacy of inspiring nighttime entertainment that unites guests around World Showcase Lagoon.”

That could mean that HarmonioUS will remain after the 50th anniversary celebration has ended. Many guests were saddened to hear that a new show will be replacing HarmonioUS so it would be wonderful if it is still performed after the celebration ends!
