Though there are plenty of ‘Walt Disney Studio’ films set to brace your screen, these are the fantastic theatrical releases that we simply cannot wait for! - February 17, 2023 – Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania via Marvel Studios
- Marvel Studios claims the first theatrical movie spot for Disney’s year! Ant-Man and the Wasp are exploring the Quantum Realm in this film and we can’t wait to see all the new creatures and adventures in store!
- May 5, 2023 – Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 via Marvel Studios
- Written and directed by James Gunn, this is his third and final film! The success of the previous Guardian films have been attributed to the amazing actors, as well as its direction from Gunn.
- May 26, 2023 – The Little Mermaid via Walt Disney Pictures
- Look at this film… isn’t it neat? The Little Mermaid is the long-awaited, live-action film adaptation of Disney’s 1989 successful animated version. Halle Bailey as Ariel? Melissa McCarthy as Ursula? Sign us UP!
- June 16, 2023 – Elemental via Co-Production of Walt Disney Pictures and Pixar Animation Studios
- Pixar is known for its summer blockbusters and Elemental is no different. Element City, here we come!
- June 30, 2023 – Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny via Lucasfilm
- It’s been 41 YEARS since the first Indiana Jones was released. Harrison Ford is of course back as archeologist Indiana Jones is back for his 5th return!
- July 28, 2023 – The Marvels via Marvel Studios
- A sequel to 2019’s, Captain Marvel, The Marvels follows Carol Danvers (Brie Larson) as she works to navigate a destabilized universe.
- August 11, 2023 – Haunted Mansion via Walt Disney Pictures
- Could this be the Haunted Mansion film that was promised? There has already been a live film adaptation of this ride but is not loved by fans. We’ll just have to wait until August!
- September 15, 2023 – A Haunting in Venice via 20th Century Studios
- Agatha Cristie fans, rejoice! This film is a sequel to Murder on the Orient Express and Death on the Nile – featuring Kenneth Branagh as Hercule Poirot. Death on the Nile had a rough release, but here’s hoping for a better launch for A Haunting in Venice.
- September 22, 2023 – Next Goal Wins via Searchlight Pictures
- Have you been missing a sports comedy? Check out Next Goal wins which will be directed by Taika Waititi.
- October 6, 2023 – True Love via 20th Century Studios
- Plot details are a bit under wraps for this sci-fi theatrical release! We hope to find out details as the release gets closer!
- November 22, 2023 – Wish via Walt Disney Pictures
- Other than the Pixar release, this is the only theatrical Animated film release! This book finally answers the question of, “What if the star I wished on, answered back?
