It’s about to get exciting over at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park! On April 22 the Disney theme park will be celebrating its 25th anniversary! From limited-edition food and beverage offerings to special merchandise, there will be multiple opportunities to celebrate this anniversary milestone! Here are 4 ways to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park.
New Menu Items
What would a Disney celebration be without special food offerings? Throughout Earth Month and the anniversary celebrations, there will be new and unique food and beverage offerings found throughout the park. At Tiffins Restaurant, guests can feast on a 25th Anniversary Dessert Platter, and at Tusker House Restaurant will be offering a special Earth Tart.
PhotoPass Photo Ops
Beginning April 16, Disney’s PhotoPass Service will be offering special celebratory photo opportunities at select locations. The 25th Anniversary sign prop is even made completely out of recycled materials, keeping with the Earth Month theme.
Unique Wilderness Experiences
From April 16-23, Wilderness Explorers will have the opportunity to complete a limited-time nature challenge and earn a special badge! At The Animation Experience at Conservation Station, guests can learn to draw characters such as Dumbo, Crush, or Tigger!
25th Anniversary Merchandise
Of course, Disney will also be celebrating by releasing new limited-edition merchandise! The special anniversary collection will be available beginning April 21 for a limited time at Island Mercantile, Discovery Trading Company, and Mombasa Marketplace. From a tumbler to a limited-edition Earth Month pin or commemorative Spirit Jersey, there will be plenty of new merchandise found throughout the park.
