Everyone who goes to Disney World likes to end their day on a high note! Especially by watching Disney fireworks! Over at Magic Kingdom, the Disney Enchantment fireworks show will take guests on a journey filled with adventure, wonder and empowerment inspiring everyone to believe in magic! It will also feature music, enhanced lighting, amazing fireworks and immersive projection effects that will extend from Cinderella Castle to Main Street U.S.A. Even if you aren’t inside Magic Kingdom, you can still catch the fireworks show at several nearby resorts!
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort
The first is a favorite of ours! Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is a Disney resort located on the monorail line. You can take the monorail to the Magic Kingdom or to the other resort hotels on the monorail line (Grand Floridian and Contemporary). Surrounded by tropical flora, this visually appealing retreat makes you feel as if you are vacationing on a tropical island. In the evening you can watch the Magic Kingdom fireworks from the resort beach.
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort
The Grand Floridian has one of the best locations in all of Walt Disney World Resort! It’s positioned on the Seven Seas Lagoon with views of the Lagoon and Magic Kingdom park. You can see the Magic Kingdom fireworks from some of the rooms! It’s also on the Resort Monorail Line which connects the hotel to Magic Kingdom, other resort hotels, and the Transportation & Ticket Center. There’s even a walkway to Magic Kingdom park if you feel like taking a stroll to the park.
Disney’s Contemporary Resort
Next is Disney’s Contemporary Resort, which has one of the best locations of all the Walt Disney World Resort hotels! It is extremely close to the Magic Kingdom with multiple ways to get from the hotel to the theme park. The monorail runs right through the middle of the hotel and will take you to the Magic Kingdom. You can also walk to the park from the hotel. The location gives guests fantastic views of the Magic Kingdom as well as the lagoon the hotel backs up to. You can even watch the Electrical Water Pageant from the hotel!
Next, we look at two other resorts that can see Epcot’s nighttime spectacular.

Epcot’s Harmonious Nighttime Show
Harmonious has a runtime of 20 minutes and will take place nightly, weather permitting. The show takes guests on a thrilling journey through new interpretations of classic Disney songs. 15 favorite Disney songs have been reimagined by a culturally diverse ensemble of 240 artists from around the world. This includes musicians, composers, arrangers, vocalists and more. These songs play amid choreographed moving fountains, lights, lasers, fireworks and other special effects that light up the night sky over World Showcase Lagoon.
Let’s take a closer look at the key scenes and music from Harmonious:
- Harmonious will open with a medley of songs including “How Far I’ll Go” from Moana and “Go the Distance” from Hercules. Both are performed by American Idol finalist and GRAMMY nominee Danny Gokey who is joined by vocalists Elisha Garrett and Ninet Tayeb.
- Favorite songs from The Lion King are then performed in both English and Zulu by the Ndlovu Youth Choir from Johannesburg.
- Vocalist Bryson Camper and legendary gospel artists Karen Clark Sheard and Kierra Sheard then take us through a rendition of “Dig a Little Deeper” from The Princess and the Frog.
- French Pop Star Damien Sargue then performs a rendition of “Out There”from The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
- This is followed by a medley of rousing melodies from Pixar’s Coco as sung by award-winning Puerto Rican artist Luis Fonsi. He is joined by Mexican singer/songwriter Joy.
Guests are then taken through songs from Brave performed by GRAMMY and Emmy-nominated violinist Máiréad Nesbitt and platinum-selling electronic artist, violinist and multi-talented entertainer Lindsey Stirling. - Harmonious winds down with a medley featuring sections from movies including Mulan, The Jungle Book, and Aladdin. The vocal talents of Wang Liugi, Hollie Hammel, Aditya Rao, Gaayatri Kaundinya, Jorgie Shkara and Sanaa Marahati are featured.
- Harmonious concludes with the inspiring ballad “Someday” from The Hunchback of Notre Dame which will be combined with the new EPCOT theme song from composer Pinar Toprak.
There will be a total of 15 songs featured and 13 languages represented in Harmonious. Five floating platforms will be positioned like a compass on the World Showcase to support the show’s equipment. Four double-sided LED panels standing 25 feet high and 88 feet long are used. The central water curtain used for projecting media is 5 stories high!
Disney’s Boardwalk Inn
Our next choice is Disney’s Boardwalk Inn, which is a Deluxe-level hotel at the Walt Disney World Resort. Guests can experience the charm and whimsy of turn-of-the-century Atlantic City at this waterfront Resort hotel. Make a splash at Luna Park Pool and delight in a massage at the state-of-the-art fitness center. Discover carnival games, unique dining and exciting nightlife on the Coney Island-style boardwalk. At nighttime, resort guests can catch a glimpse of Magic Kingdom’s fireworks in the distance. You can also see Epcot’s fireworks if you walk along the actual boardwalk!
Disney’s Yacht Club and Beach Club Resorts
Finally, Disney’s Yacht Club Resort at the Walt Disney World Resort is a deluxe-level resort. Guests can delight in the formal grace of a grand New England-style yacht club at this lakeside hotel. Sharing many amenities with its sister, Disney’s Beach Club Resort, Disney’s Yacht Club Resort is walking distance to Epcot and a convenient boat ride to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Those are just some of the great reasons to stay at both resorts. But you can also see the fireworks in part of Epcot’s nighttime show as well!
