With over 35 Global Marketplaces making up this year’s Food & Wine Festival, figuring out what dishes to try can be a real challenge. However, with a little help from the Chef’s at Disney, we sifted through the options to present you with 5 delectable dishes that you won’t want to miss!
1. Charcuterie in a Cone – Found at the Spain Marketplace, this lovely dish comes with a selection of imported Spanish Meats, Cheeses and Herb Vinaigrette. This dish can be yours for $6.50 or 1 snack credit on the Disney Dining Plan.
2. Crispy Chicken with Cornbread and Gravy – Satisfy your cravings for good home cooking with this savory treat found at Farm Fresh. The dish is comprised of Crispy Chicken with Griddled Cornbread and Red Eye Gravy and can be yours for $4.75 or 1 Snack Credit on the Disney Dining Plan.
3. Swine Brine – Flavors of Fire is one of the new marketplaces premiering at this year’s Festival and it already has one drink that guests are talking about, the Swine Brine. This drink features Evan Williams Bourbon, lemon juice, apple juice and mustard and comes with a rib as a garnish. Dare yourself to try something different for $8.25.
4. Pistachio Cardamom Cake – A Disney dessert lover’s dream, this vegetarian sweet treat features a Pistachio Cardamom Bundt Cake with a Chocolate Coconut Mousse. The treat can is found at the India Pavilion and can be yours for $3.50 or 1 Snack Credit for those on the Dining Plan.
5. Teriyaki Glazed Spam Hash – Leave it to Disney to take something as commonplace as Spam and elevate it to the gourmet. This is definitely one of the big Food & Wine dishes that has people talking. The dish can be found at the Hawaii marketplace and features Teriyaki-glazed Spam, hash with Potatoes, Peppers, Onions and is topped with a Spicy Mayonnaise. This culinary treat will set you back $4.00 or 1 Dining Plan Snack Credit.
