Did you really visit Disney World if you didn’t have at least one character dining experience? The characters are a huge part of what makes Disney World Disney World and character meals are one of the best ways to spend some quality time and interact with your favorite Disney characters. Here are 5 of my favorite character meals at Disney World.
Chef Mickey’s
Located inside Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Chef Mickey’s offers an iconic character dining experience. While the food itself is good, yet basic, the characters steal the show. Chef Mickey’s is mostly known for their breakfast but is also open from 5 pm -9:30 pm for dinner. If you love the traditional Mickey & Friends characters, this is the dining experience for you!
Cinderella’s Royal Table
Can you get more iconic than having a meal INSIDE Cinderella Castle at Disney World? That’s exactly where Cinderella’s Royal Table is! Not only do guests get to dine in the beautiful castle, but they are also greeted by Cinderella herself! Some of Cinderella’s princess pals also join in to make this experience a must-do for princess lovers.
Topolino’s Terrace- Flavors of the Riviera
This restaurant gets rave reviews for its character dining experience! Breakfast a la Art with Mickey & Friends is a unique character breakfast featuring Mickey, Minnie, Daisy & Donald dressed in stylish outfits that are unique to Topolino’s Terrace. It doesn’t hurt that this restaurant also offers beautiful views from its rooftop location. This restaurant is located on top of Disney’s Riviera Resort Hotel.
Crystal Palace
If you love the gang from the Hundred Acre Wood you will probably want to book a meal at Crystal Palace located in Disney’s Magic Kingdom Park. While characters have not been at this location since the park’s reopening from Covid shut down, they are finally returning on September 20th! Pooh and his pals are a delight to interact with at this character dining location, and The Crystal Palace itself is absolutely beautiful.
Storybook Dining at Artist Point
If you love Snow White, Storybook Dining at Artist Point should be on your advanced dining reservation list! Not only is the food delicious, but Snow White, Grumpy, Dopey, and even the Evil Queen herself all make special appearances! This was one of the best character dining experiences I’ve had at Disney World! This restaurant is located inside Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Resort and is open for dinner service from 4-9 daily.
Be sure to try one of these amazing character dining experiences next time you are visiting Walt Disney World Resort!
