There are certain attractions at Disney World we always hear about. You know, the rides and attractions that take either serious planning or serious waiting in line in order to experience. What we don’t usually hear about are some of the underrated attractions that may not be as well known but are still so much fun! There are definitely a few attractions that don’t get nearly enough recognition. Here are 5 of the most underrated attractions at Disney World.
Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros
You can find this delightful attraction in the Mexico Pavilion in Disney’s EPCOT park. This attraction is a dark boat ride that floats past some famous sights and cities in Mexico. Follow along as Panchito and Jose Carioca try to find Donald before their big show! This attraction hardly ever has a standby line, and when it does, it’s usually pretty short. I love grabbing a cold margarita from La Cava del Tequila and then cooling off in the air conditioning during this fun boat ride. It provides a great break from the heat while you are exploring all that the World Showcase has to offer.
Muppet Vision 3D
Another one of my favorite underrated attractions is Muppet Vision 3D, located inside Disney’s Hollywood Studios park. Guests sit in a big, air-conditioned theater and get to enjoy the antics of all the muppets in 3D! This attraction features much more than just your run-of-the-mill 3D, it also includes a set, animatronics, and even a live actor! This attraction hasn’t changed since I was a child and I still love it every time!
The Carousel of Progress
This attraction features a rotating theater audio-animatronic stage show located in Tomorrowland at Disney’s Magic Kingdom park. This attraction takes guests on a journey through time and follows a family through 4 generations of progress. I am blown away at how the Imagineers were able to predict the future when this attraction was last updated in the 1990s. This is definitely one of the most underrated attractions at Disney World! Just be careful that you’re not singing the theme song for the rest of your trip!
It’s Tough to be a Bug
it’sTough to be a Bug is a fun 3D film found in Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park features a few animatronics and unexpected surprises! I’ll be honest, for years I didn’t give this attraction a chance, but when I did I was very pleasantly surprised! This show is more than just watching a 3D movie. It definitely makes my list of underrated attractions!
The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
Who doesn’t love Winnie the Pooh? Found in Fantasyland in Disney’s Magic Kingdom park, this attraction floats guests through the Hundred-Acre Wood in an oversized Hunny Pot! It seems like Peter Pan’s Flight gets all the glory, when honestly I believe The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh is just as fun!
