Drinking and eating “around the world” is a fun way for any Disney vacationer to make their way around EPCOT’s World Showcase. Every pavilion featured in the World Showcase has lots of delicious items to try, and it’s so much fun to experience the tastes of different cultures. While this challenge may be fun, it can also be overwhelming due to the sheer amount of food and beverage offerings that are available. As a tried and true ‘World Traveler’ here are 6 of my all-time favorite items I have to get every time I’m traveling the World Showcase.
Violet Sake
Ok, this drink is my absolute, all-time favorite drink in all of Walt Disney World so it has to be #1 on my list of delicious items! This refreshing and sweet beverage is found at the Garden House Kiosk in the Japan pavilion. It is a beautiful dark purple color and some say it tastes similar to a grape jolly rancher! Make sure you give this drink a try (if you are 21 or older) next time you are at EPCOT.
Fish & Chips
Next on my list of the most delicious items in the World Showcase is the famous Fish & Chips from Yorkshire County Fish Shop in the United Kingdom Pavilion. Seriously, I’m not a huge fan of fish but I get this dish every visit! There is something about the delicious crispy batter that makes this fish incredible! The dish comes with two pieces of fish so it’s also a great snack to share!
Welsh Dragon
Since we just covered the Fish & Chips from the UK, let’s talk about one of my absolute favorite drinks also from the UK! The Welsh Dragon is a bright green, sweet refreshing beverage served at Rose & Crown Pub. Not only is it a delicious drink, but it’s also so unique with its bright green color. Every time I order this drink I’m asked by multiple guests what it is!
Avocado Margarita
While this may sound like a strange combination, believe me, the Avocado Margarita from La Cava del Tequila in the Mexico Pavilion is one of the most delicious items in all of EPCOT! It is made with melon liqueur, which gives it a refreshing sweetness, while the avocado gives it a creamy texture. I have tried multiple different flavors at La Cava and always come back to the Avocado.
Jumbo Bavarian Pretzel
While Mickey-shaped pretzels are often what you think of at Disney World, the Pretzel Cart in the Germany Pavilion serves up delicious and gigantic jumbo Bavarian Pretzels!
French Pastries
At Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie in the France Pavilion are some of the absolute most delicious items in all of Walt Disney World! I get hungry just thinking about the beautiful displays of amazing French Pasteries behind the glass. There are so many to choose from, and you really can’t go wrong! From Mousse to Macaroons to Tartes, there is something for every sweet tooth! This place is a must-do during every trip to EPCOT!
