With only a few short weeks until Easter, those looking for a special way to celebrate will want to head over to Disney Springs (Disney World’s downtown shopping district) where you’ll find everything on offer from Easter-themed entertainment, dining, kids friendly activities and of course, Easter treats. To give you just a taste of the Easter-goodness that awaits, here’s our list of 7 ways to ring in Spring and celebrate Easter at Disney Springs.
1. Easter Baskets for the Little Ones – If you’re kids are Disney-lovers than why not surprise them with Easter baskets done Disney-style. Head over to Goofy’s Candy Company for a tasty array of fully assembled baskets overflowing with delightful confections. There’s also World of Disney as well as the Disney Corner which are filled with basket essentials. You’ll find everything from stuffed animals to toys to apparel!
2. Build Your Own Boutique Basket – If you’re shopping for someone that appreciates the finer things, head to one of the many fabulous shops and boutiques at Disney Springs to customize your own Easter Baskets. Places worth checking out are M.A.C Cosmetics, Sephora, Basin or L’Occitane. Or, if you’re really looking to splurge head on over to the Ever After Jewelry Co. for gift items that really dazzle!
3. Dance to the Beat of the Bunny Drum Corps- If you’re looking for the perfect day to head to Disney Springs, we recommend March 22nd where the “Bunny Drum Corps” will be bringing the percussion (and the bunny ears.) We promise they’ll have you tapping your toes no time!
4. Easter-themed Fun for the Kids – Perfect for your little busy-bodies, Disney Springs if offering an Easter bonnet-themed kids’ activity this coming weekend (March 24th & 25th) from 12-5pm. The fun will take place at Disney Springs Marketplace near the Pearl Factory kiosk.
5. Crack Into this Delightful Pinata Egg from The Ganachery – We here at Disney Addicts just can’t get enough of the creative chocolate creations that come out of The Ganachery and on Easter they really deliver. Our favorite sweet treat of the season has to be the Pinata Egg. This hollow chocolate egg comes with a wooden hammer so that you can crack it open to reveal the chocolate-covered marshmallows inside!
6. Add a Bit of Disney Flair to Your Family Easter Photos – Do something slightly unconventional with your family’s Easter photos this year and head on over to the Disney PhotoPass Studio at the Marketplace for an Easter-themed photo shot. The studio is filled with fun props including a larger-than-life Easter basket, and virtual backgrounds like the one above that celebrate Spring.
7. Enjoy an Easter Meal at One of Disney Springs’ Amazing Eateries – The incredible restaurants of Disney Springs are pulling out all the stops this Easter. For those looking for a memorable Easter meal with family or friends there are several restaurants offering limited-time or Easter brunch menus. Some of our favorites include Paddlefish where menu highlights include Lamb Loin as well the Crab and Asparagus Eggs Benedict. There’s also STK Orlando, Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant, Maria & Enzo’s and House of Blues. Reservations can be booked online via My Disney Experience or by calling 407.WDW.DINE.
We think you’ll agree that there are plenty of ways to celebrate Spring and the Easter holiday at Disney Springs. We hope to see you there!
