It’s been another incredible week for delicious Walt Disney World treats that our team over at Chip and Co. have discovered on their travels. As a matter of fact, there’s been so many yummy delights that we here at Disney Addicts are struggling to keep them all straight! That’s why we thought we’d end the weekend with a delicious “BANG!” and share with you 7 of our favorites for the past week.
1. Whipped Pineapple Eclair – Amorette’s Patisserie- Disney Springs – (pictured above) Call this treat whatever you like, but to us it the evokes the feeling of strolling through Adventureland with a Dole Whip in hand. This delicious eclair contains a pineapple mousse and is topped with a white chocolate edible layer. It can be yours for $6.00.
2. Brownie Temptation – Main Street Bakery- Magic Kingdom – One a recent trip to this Starbuck’s location to pick up a coffee, our roving reported noticed this decadent new addition to the menu! The Brownie Temptation is made up of a homemade brownie topped with hot fudge, melted peanut butter, whipped cream and caramel drizzle. It pairs perfectly with the delicious lattes and cappuccinos you’ll find here. This snack will set you back $5.79.
3. Oreo Chocolate Mousse- Sunshine Seasons – Epcot – One of our favorite Quick Service locations in all of Walt Disney World has to be Sunshine Seasons, located on the bottom floor of The Land pavilion right next to Soarin. They have a wonderfully eclectic array of food and this tasty dessert is no exception. For $5.29 or one Disney Dining Plan Snack Credit, you can tuck into this delicious snack made of a Oreo cookies and cream mousse topped with crispy pearls and a chocolate straw. Trust us when we say its super tasty and the fact that it comes in a cup makes it the perfect snack for strolling around Future World.
4. Pork Belly Burger (Secret Menu)- Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe- Magic Kingdom – For those unfamiliar with secret menu items, from time to time, Disney will unveil some delicious eats that aren’t readily advertised or won’t appear on the menu. In most cases, you’ll find out about these through word-of-mouth or in this case by having a snoop around the Mobile Ordering section of the My Disney Experience App. That’s exactly how we found out about this incredible burger now on offer at Cosmic Ray’s in Tomorrowland. This burger-lovers dream is made up of 8 ounces of a Pork Belly and Agnus Beef blend. Its topped with Pork Rinds, Smoked Gouda and Sriracha Aioli. It is served on a Brioche Bun and comes with Fried Pickle Chips on the tops! It is served as part of a combo that comes with French Fries, Green Beans and Mashed Potatoes! In order to grab one of these bad boys, you need to go use Disney’s mobile ordering service app. Just go to Cosmic Ray’s and you’ll find it under the “Mobile Order Secret Menu!”
5. Pub Tots and Brats and Tots – The Friar’s Nook – Magic Kingdom – You’ll find this Quick Service eatery right next to Princess Fairytale Hall where they serve up some pretty hearty grub. Two recent additions to the menu include the loaded Pub Tots pictured above as well as Brats and Tots. The Pub Tots come topped with delicious beer cheese, bacon and chives. They can be yours for $8.49. The Brats and Tots come with a traditional bratwurst covered in sauerkraut which comes with a side of delicious tots. This item will set you back $10.49.
6. Incredible Krispy Treats and Incredible Candy Apple- Magic Kingdom’s Main Street Confectionary- Magic Kingdom – It has indeed been an Incredible Summer with a range of fun activities throughout Walt Disney World paying tribute to the Parr family. Two of our favorites can be found at Main Street Confectionary. The Incredible Candy Apple is made up of a Granny Smith apple dipped in caramel and red chocolate. It’s then decorated with an Incredibles logo sugar disk. You can pick one up for $10.99. The Incredible Krispy Treat is covered in red chocolate with the same sugar disc. This ooey-gooey treat can be yours for $5.49 or one Disney Dining Snack Credit.
7. Chocolate Overload Cookie – Electric Umbrella- Epcot – We round out our list of tasty treats with a pretty impressive cookie currently on offer over at the Electric Umbrella in Future World. Its base is your traditional chocolate chip cookie but as you can see from the picture there is a whole lot more going on. This treat is drizzled with white chocolate and caramel sauces. It’s then topped with chocolate pearls. It comes in at $3.29 and makes the perfect snack or dessert!
