We all know that Disney World is home to some amazing restaurants. Some locations even require months of planning to snag a reservation for. But with over 400 dining locations, it’s no surprise that not every restaurant at Disney is a hit. So, which restaurants at the happiest place on Earth should you steer clear from? Here are 7 of the worst-reviewed Disney World restaurants according to Yelp (3 and a half stars or less).

Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe- This restaurant is found inside Tomorrowland in Disney’s Magic Kingdom park. It is a cafeteria-style restaurant. The menu is simple and offers traditional “park food”. If you are looking for nothing more than a burger and fries or a hot dog, you will be ok dining here. However, be advised that the plant-based meals received some of the worst reviews.

Rainforest Cafe- It’s no surprise that with all of the amazing and unique restaurants found at Disney, a chain restaurant wouldn’t quite measure up. However, Rainforest Cafe is actually a pretty popular dining location, despite the negative reviews! Guests left reviews claiming that the food and the service were merely mediocre. Meanwhile, guests thought the price was too high. Located right at Disney’s Animal kingdom park entrance, this safari-style restaurant might be one to skip, unless you just enjoy the fun atmosphere.

Restaurantosaurus- This restaurant is located in Dinoland U.S.A. inside Disney’s Animal Kingdom park. Guests here felt underwhelmed, calling the food “run of the mill amusement park food”. Traditional items such as burgers and chicken nuggets are served here, and some guests felt they were not quite up to par with the likes of fast-food chains.

ABC Commissary- Another cafeteria-style quick-service restaurant makes the list. Found inside Disney’s Hollywood Studios park, ABC Commissary serves items such as burgers and salads.

Pinocchio Village Haus- This quick-service restaurant is found in Fantasyland in Disney’s Magic Kingdom park. Guests were not kind in their reviews, with one stating the chicken sandwich was “the worst in my life”. Ouch! However, the restaurant did score points with some guests for having air conditioning.

Tony’s Town Square- That’s right, our beloved restaurant from Lady and the Tramp has made the worst-of list. This restaurant is located right on Main St. in Disney’s Magic Kingdom. Guests really didn’t care for the pasta, calling it “really badly cooked with horrible sauce.” But what about the movie’s iconic meatballs? One guest called them “just average”. Tramp disagrees and will gladly take your leftovers.

Planet Hollywood- Diners were not impressed with this chain location found in Disney Springs. One reviewer even advises to “run away”. Another wrote that the $15 milkshake was “like a smoothie of chocolate syrup and whipped cream.” Now, that doesn’t actually sound that bad.

The good news is that there are plenty of other restaurants throughout Disney World! Hopefully, you don’t run into any dining disasters on your next trip!

  1. T Rex should rate right up there as being one of the worst. Expensive prices and not very good choices on the menu especially for kids.
