Over the past few months, Disney Parks Blog and Disney Style have been sharing some amazing photos of Disney’s most Instagramable backdrops on both coasts! There are so many amazing options to choose from and several that we weren’t even aware of even after our many visits to the Mouse. That’s why we decided to curate a handful of our favorite Disneyland spots in this post in the hopes that it helps you along next time you’re are at Disneyland Resort looking for a bit of inspiration.
1. Mosaic Backdrop – Schmoozies – Hollywood Land – Disney California Adventure Park – (pictured above) It’s easy to miss this colorful backdrop near Schmoozies in Holly Wood Land. See if you can spot it on your next visit. Trust us, it makes a fantastic backdrop!
2. Starbucks- Downtown Disney – We all know that Starbucks and Disney go hand in hand. That’s why this gorgeous wall just outside the Starbucks that is adjacent to the Lego Store is the perfect place to show your Disney style. The side wall featuring a giant Starbucks logo goes well with your colorful Disney get-ups. So take a break from your shopping to capture this memorable shot.
3. “it’s a small world” wall – Disneyland – We think this backdrop deserves to be right up there with Disney World’s Bubble Gum Wall for best Disney Instagram backgrounds. This “it’s a small world” wall is a pretty popular place to snap that perfect shot so why not add yours to the mix?
4. Big Thunder Trail – Disneyland – This Disneyland location makes the perfect background for those fun-filled group shots. For those that are a fan of the colors and textures this backdrop provides, you can also find similar shots at Cars Land at California Adventure Park.
5. Jolly Trolley – Mickey’s Toon Town – Disneyland – Who says Toon Town is just for kids? It certainly isn’t when it comes to nabbing this fun Disney shot. The layout of the trolley car also makes for the perfect group photo.
6. Radiator Springs Curios – Cars Land – Disney California Adventure Park – We love the rustic feel of this Route 66 themed backdrop that you’ll find in Cars Land – Its perfect for all of those fantastic Disney-bounding outfits with a vintage feel.
7. Wishing Well – Snow White Grotto – Disneyland – Add a bit of whimsy to your photos with a shot at the well in Snow White’s Grotto. Make a wish and strike a pose amongst the lovely fairytale surroundings.
These are just a handful of the many wonderful backdrops you’ll find scattered about Disneyland Resort. Be sure to share your favorites in the comments below and give one or two of our suggestions a try during your next visit to the Mouse.
