Easter Parade

Did you know that Disney offers a special parade at Magic Kingdom during Easter weekend? It’s a short parade that takes place before the scheduled Festival of Fantasy Parade. It’s a fun seasonal show to help visitors enjoy their Easter at Magic Kingdom. A group of Fantasia character lead the parade as the music starts. Fans can watch the ballet-dancing hippos and ostriches start the show. The Azalea Trail Maids soon follow. Seeing them is a real treat for guests! The Azalea Trail Maids are a group of 50 high school seniors from Mobile, Alabama. They serve as goodwill ambassadors who embody the spirit of Southern hospitality. Their antebellum-style dresses represent spring flowers. Daisy Duck led the group of Azalea Trail Maids last year.

Other highlights of the parade include seeing various Disney bunnies riding together in a parade float. Both the White Rabbit (Alice in Wonderland) and Rabbit (Winnie the Pooh) were among the group of Disney characters. Of course, the real star of the show is the Easter Bunny riding in a motorcade!
