Wow! Last week was probably one of the busiest weeks in the news we’ve seen in a very long time, most of that obviously was due to the huge Presidential race on November 3. However, we are not here to discuss politics, we are here to discuss news from both the happiest and most magical places on Earth! It was a week full of first looks and new offerings. Let’s review some of the news coming out of Disney last week!
Parks and Resorts
- The Holidays have begun at Walt Disney World Resort! All of the holiday decorations are up and it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas throughout the parks and resort hotels
- We got a first look at the awesome new holiday character cavalcades taking place throughout the parks
- Aulani, a Disney Resort and Spa, has reopened to guests
Disney’s Hollywood Studios Park
- Rise of the Resistance implemented a brand new boarding group reservation system, allowing guests to try for the virtual queue starting at 7 am from the comfort of their hotel room
- The holiday projections have begun on the Hollywood Tower Hotel
EPCOT
- We released your full guide to EPCOT’s 2020 International Festival of the Holidays
- We released a foodie guide to EPCOT’s 2020 International Festival of the Holidays
- EPCOT’s Frozen Ever After attraction was closed from November 2-6 for refurbishment
- EPCOT’s Italy pavilion will be getting a new food kiosk
- We got a first look at the new ride vehicles for the new Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind attraction coming to EPCOT
Disney’s Magic Kingdom Park
- River’s of America at Disney’s Magic Kingdom Park has been drained for refurbishment
- The holiday projections over Cinderella castle have begun
- Disney started construction on a new stage near the front of Cinderella castle
- The Magic Kingdom toll plaza was refurbished
- Santa Stitch greeted guests at Disney’s Magic Kingdom Park
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park
- Holiday decorations have arrived at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park
- We got our first look at the new baby white rhino at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park
Disneyland Resort
- CA mayors urged the Governor to change the states reopening guidelines
- Buena Vista Street will open at Disneyland Resort on November 19
Disney Cruise Line
- Key West voted to limit cruise ships from visiting
- The Disney Cruise Line announced that they will be changing their staterooms in 2022
