Those of us that frequent Walt Disney World Resort know that it is not just an “amusement park”. Disney goes so far above and beyond other theme parks to create a truly immersive and magical experience. One other thing Disney does better is the food! I get hungry just thinking about all of the dining and snack options found throughout the parks. There are just so many options! Many people think it must cost a fortune in order to get a good meal at Disney and while yes, there are definitely some expensive options, you can also get a good meal for a decent price! Let’s discuss Disney dining on a budget! Today, we will go over some excellent budget-friendly options found at Disney’s Magic Kingdom.
Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe ($14.99 and under per adult)- Located in Tomorrowland, Cosmic Ray’s features menu items such as plant-based sloppy joes, chicken nuggets, and delicious bacon cheeseburgers. This restaurant is a great choice for picky eaters and small children. It is a quick-service location and reservations are not accepted. This location requires advanced mobile ordering using the My Disney Experience App. This location currently serves lunch and dinner.
Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe ($14.99 and under per adult)- Located in Frontierland this is a quick-service restaurant with a Tex-Mex flare. This restaurant offers menu items such as nachos, rice bowls, a fajita platter (my personal favorite) salads, and burgers. This location is also a go-to for special holiday offerings when they are available. Reservations are not accepted here and mobile ordering is currently a requirement.
Pinocchio Village Haus ($14.99 and under per adult)- This quick-service dining location can be found in Fantasyland right next to the It’s a Small World attraction. This restaurant has a bit of an Italian flair and offers items such as an antipasto salad and pepperoni flatbread. Choose your seat wisely, and you can even sit above the It’s a Small World attraction and watch the boats as they go by!
Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant ($14.99and under per adult)- For guests upset that the popular restaurant, Columbia Harbour House, is currently closed- have no fear! The menu items normally featured at Columbia Harbour House are currently being served at Tomorrowland Terrace. Enjoy a fish platter or a famous lobster roll at this location.
If you’d rather have a snack and not a full meal, I really enjoy the spring rolls found at the cart in Adventureland and the loaded buffalo chicken tots from Friar’s Nook in Fantasyland. Of course, there’s always popcorn and Mickey pretzels too! As you can see, there are plenty of pocket-book friendly options at Disney’s Magic Kingdom.
