May 2024 Construction Update for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure
The Mardi Gras party of the year is almost here! We are so excited for the upcoming opening of the most anticipated ride of summer 2024 at Disneyworld! Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is inching closer and closer to being completed, and we can’t wait to see what this newly redesigned adventure with Tiana is going to be like!

With construction nearing completion, eager Imagineers are busy putting the final touches on the ride with near-daily test runs. We witnessed smiles from the lucky few riders who got to take the iconic logs for a test ride, and it definitely got us even more excited for Tiana’s Bayou to open! While whispers of sneak peeks in June are swirling, Disney has yet to announce an official opening date for this splash-tastic addition to the park.

Recent updates reveal the project is in its final stages. Construction walls have been pushed back, showcasing a stunning new attraction sign. The nighttime lighting has also expanded, adding a magical touch to the iconic salt dome facade! Imagineers are busy adding props and final details to immerse the experience of the new ride! It’s a beautiful sight to see, especially everything all lit up night!
Dive into a brand-new story featuring Tiana and Naveen alongside fresh characters with unique personalities, and prepare to be dazzled by dozens of new Audio-Animatronics that bring the bayou creatures and Tiana’s friends to life! Get ready to tap your feet to a delightful mix of original music and beloved tunes from the movie.
