A SNEAK PEAK INTO THE BEAK AND BARREL

Step into The Mess, the main gathering spot that was once a mess hall for Spanish soldiers before a cunning crew of pirates claimed it as their own. Look up as you enter, and you’ll spot a ship’s bell, rumored to be a gift from the legendary Captain Redd himself. This spacious hall is filled with long tables perfect for gathering your crew and spinning yarns about your latest adventures. You’ll also notice the intriguing Mermaid Windows, salvaged from a shipwreck and covered in barnacles, they hold a mystery all their own. And if you dare, take a seat in the back corner known as The Brig, a reminder of the room’s past life. Just be sure to mind your manners, some say the walls remember every rascal they’ve kept.

Next, you’ll find the centerpiece of the tavern: the massive, skull-shaped Cursed Bar. This isn’t just any bar; it’s a treasure chest of rare bottles and stories from across the Seven Seas. But the real star is the Enchanted Rum Bottle, a special bottle of grog that keeps the tavern’s barrels and the pirates’ spirits from ever running dry. Just don’t let it get empty, or you might find yourself asking that infamous question: “Why is the rum gone?” And keeping a watchful eye on everything is Rummy, a quick-witted pirate perched in the skull’s eye, always ready with a joke, story, or song.

For those who fancy a taste of the finer pirate life, venture into the Captains’ Quarters. This room was once a grand residence but has since been marked by the rowdy hands of pirates. Here, you’ll find an elegant fireplace and miniature ships in glass bottles on the mantel. But be warned, these aren’t just decorations; they’re known to come alive and engage in fierce, bottle-bound battles. Along the wall, four grand Captains’ Booths are intricately carved with tales of notorious pirates, their legends echoing across the seas. And if you’re feeling lucky, you can find a private sitting room tucked away where pirates partake in games of skill and chance.

Finally, you’ll discover the Mapmaker’s Room, a treasure trove of secrets and spilled ink. This room is filled with rolled-up maps and parchment that once belonged to a crazed pirate cartographer. A sprawling worktable sits at the center, inviting pirates to gather and plot their next raid. The large painted map on the wall holds many pirating secrets just waiting to be uncovered. So, are you the one to bring them to light?
With so many stories to discover, no two visits to The Beak and Barrel will ever be the same. So, whether you’re a seasoned buccaneer or a landlubber looking for adventure, get ready to set sail for this incredible new tavern! What part of The Beak and Barrel are you most excited to explore?
