The crown jewel is Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana at EPCOT, a lush, self-guided exploration trail where the water actually interacts with you. At Disney’s Hollywood Studios, the legendary “Fantasmic!” nighttime spectacular features Moana in an open-air musical triumph, and later this year, the Animation Academy will host “Olaf Draws!” classes where story artist Samantha Vilfort will teach guests how to sketch Moana. If you want to meet the chief’s daughter herself, she greets voyagers at EPCOT’s World Nature and the Character Landing at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

If you find yourself on the Disney Adventure, you can catch “Moana: Call of the Sea” at Wayfinder Bay or grab a bite at Gramma Tala’s Kitchen, surrounded by vibrant South Pacific art.
For a quick caffeine fix, the Disney Treasure also features the playfully quirky Heihei Café. On the first night aboard the Wish, Treasure, Destiny, or Adventure, don’t miss “Disney Seas the Adventure,” where Moana joins Elsa and Merida for a powerful, inspiring musical medley.
Back on land at the original Disneyland Resort in California, a wave of nostalgia hits you the moment you stroll down Main Street, U.S.A., where an intricate Emporium window display features Moana, Maui, Te Fiti, and even some hidden Kakamora. Guests can meet Moana in Fantasyland or head over to Disney California Adventure to learn how to draw Pua and Heihei at the Animation Academy. As night falls, her spirit lights up the parks through stunning spectaculars like “Wondrous Journeys” (running through August 20, 2026), the colorful “Tapestry of Happiness” projection show on “it’s a small world”, and the emotional “World of Color – ONE” water show, which makes its grand return on August 10, 2026.
International Horizons and Island Roots
Looking across the globe, Moana’s reach spans from Tokyo to Paris. At Hong Kong Disneyland, Adventureland comes alive with “Moana: A Homecoming Celebration,” an atmospheric stage show packed with puppetry and culture. Afterward, fans can dine at the newly opened Wayfinders’ Table, enjoying themed dishes like Voyagers’ Chicken Naan Pizza.
Meanwhile, Tokyo Disney Resort features Moana prominently in the daytime “Disney Harmony in Color” parade and the breathtaking “Believe! Sea of Dreams” nighttime spectacular at Tokyo DisneySea.
Over at Shanghai Disney Resort, she stars in the live theater production “Mickey’s Storybook Adventure” and illuminates the castle during “ILLUMINATE! A Nighttime Celebration.”
Across the Atlantic, Disneyland Paris is bringing the ultimate magic with the “Disney Cascade of Lights” drone and water show at Disney Adventure World, the colorful “A Million Splashes of Colour” daytime show, and the elegant Regal View Restaurant & Lounge, where you can dine alongside royalty.
Alonaside the Real Spirit of the Islands: For the ultimate culturally immersive experience, Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa in Hawaiʻi honors the true traditions of Polynesian voyaging.
