Can I Use My Starbucks Gift Cards at Walt Disney World?

Q. Can you use Starbucks gift cards inside the Disney parks?

A. If you’re a Disney-bound coffee drinker and are trying to imagine your days at the parks without your favorite Starbucks beverage- fear not! Disney has 6 convenient Starbucks locations at Walt Disney World Resort. These are as follows:

Downtown Disney Marketplace (West Side) and a kiosk near World of Disney at the Marketplace.
Fountain View in EPCOT
Main Street Bakery in Magic Kingdom
Trolley Car Cafe in Hollywood Studios
Creature Comforts at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Guests with a stash of Starbucks gift cards will be pleased to know that Disney WILL accept them as payment at the Starbucks locations listed above. The great thing about this is that not only are guests able to use them for your favorite snacks and beverages but I’ve also used a gift card to get one of the Disney-themed Starbucks mugs that can be found on property.

Can I use my Starbucks App? Yes. The Starbucks app on your smartphone can also be used to pay for items at Disney World provided that you have a balance.

Can I redeem my Starbucks Reward Points at Disney World? Only at the two Disney Springs locations. At the locations within the theme parks you are able to accrue rewards points on your Disney purchases but not redeem existing points.

Can I use Disney gift cards at Disney World Starbucks locations? Yes! If you want to pay for purchases using Disney gift cards or a combination of Disney and Starbucks cards you can do that at all of the Disney World Starbucks locations.

What about Birthday Drinks or Coupons? The Starbucks in the theme parks will not honor these. However, the Starbucks on the West Side in Disney Springs will as it is an official company store.

Do the Starbucks locations at Disney accept Disney Dining Plan Credits? Yes! This is one of my favorite things about having Starbucks on property. If you are on the Disney Dining Plan then you’ll be pleased to know that Starbucks pastries, treats and drinks are acceptable uses of a Snack Credit. Those on the hunt for a Quick Service breakfast can also purchase any of the breakfast sandwiches on offer at the theme park locations for a Quick Service Credit. Originally both Downtown Springs locations were exempt from the Dining Plans however that has changed and Dining Plan options can be found at both locations.

Quick Tip: For those on the dining plan consider this the one time in life where you can actually opt for a Venti without parting with a hefty amount of cash . A snack credit is a snack credit regardless of whether you’re getting a Tall or a Venti. So supersize that Frappuccino!
