Starting your day at Walt Disney World with a delicious, satisfying breakfast is very important! However, many times everyone wants to head right to the parks to eat and overlook some of the delicious dining options right at the resorts. While there are many great places to choose from, here are 5 of my favorite places to eat breakfast at the Walt Disney World Resorts!

Ohana is always top on my list and a can’t miss for my family! Located at the Polynesian Resort and on the monorail line- it makes a great breakfast to start your day before heading to the Magic Kingdom! Not only do you get to dine with Lilo & Stitch, Mickey and Pluto but you get to try Ohana’s famous breakfast beverage- P.O.G- a combinations of passion fruit, orange and guava juices. (I usually ask for a to-go cup on my way out the door!) At Ohana, you will eat a family style meal which consists of a huge skillet with Mickey waffles, scrambled eggs, fried potatoes, sausage & bacon, and biscuits. They also bring you out a fresh fruit plate.  Not only does this breakfast offer you delicious food but guests (especially children) are encouraged to participate in the Ohana Family Parade where they dance, sing and shake maracas with the Disney characters.

Boma, located at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, has an amazing buffet breakfast! Resembling a lively African marketplace, you won’t be disappointed with the abundance of food- not to mention all the delicious flavors! From the make your own omelet station to the French toast, African pastries and carved ham plus the delicious fresh fruit and tropical juice, everyone will be satisfied (and full!) when you head to the parks for the day.

1900 Park Fare at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort is home to the Supercalifragilistic Breakfast! It is here you can join some of your favorite Disney friends- Mary Poppins, Alice in Wonderland, The Mad Hatter, Tigger and Pooh- for a delicious breakfast.  Here you will find traditional breakfast favorites, Mickey Waffles, pancakes, eggs, French toast and more plus some Chef Favorites like cheese blintzes and strawberry soup. There are many choices here and something for everyone!

Cape May Café at Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club has a fun character breakfast where you can see Minnie, Donald and Goofy dressed for the beach! Cape May Cafe has a lot of choices for breakfast with dishes such as waffles, French toast, omelets and breakfast meats. This breakfast makes a great place to dine before a day at Epcot since this resort is located only about a 5 minute walk away for the theme park or a 2 minute boat ride.

Chef Mickey’s is one of the most difficult character meals to get into at Walt Disney World because this is where you will dine with the entire Fab 5: Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto and Donald.  Chef Mickey’s offers a breakfast buffet and is conveniently located at the Contemporary Resort which is a short monorail ride away from the Magic Kingdom.   The breakfast menu features tried-and-true favorites like Mickey waffles, cheesy breakfast potatoes, cheese blintzes, omelets, and French toast and is sure to be a family favorite!
