More entertainment is coming back to Walt Disney World Resort throughout the 50th anniversary celebration!
We are so happy to see live entertainment coming back including new additions and enhancements! Let’s a take a look at everything we will be able to enjoy soon:
A few months ago it was announced that the Finding Nemo musical will not be returning to Disney World, but no worries, we will have a new show called “Finding Nemo: The Big Blue…and Beyond” and will be set in the timeline of “Finding Dory”.
The show will begin with the fish from Dr. P. Sherman’s office who have made their way across the ocean to California. They tell the story of Nemo and how they all got there, incorporating many of the beloved songs and production number from the original show. You will be able to enjoy it in 2022!
The news everyone was waiting for, Fantasmic will be returning to Hollywood Studios in 2022!
The show will incorporate an all new sequence featuring live performers, stunts, special effects and more. We can’t wait to see it again and find out what they have been preparing for us.

Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire will be back to the Cinderella Castle stage early next year!
The beloved show will incorporate favorite scenes from the previous version with sequences inspired by Frozen, Tangled and Princess and the Frog, as well as, a new opening and a new finale with Mickey and his friends in their sparkling EARidescent fashions.
A new song called “Where the Magic Feels Like Home” will be wonderful addition the 50th anniversary lineup.
Since the parks reopened, a modified entertainment experience was debuted in all the four themed parks.
Now a new cavalcade called “Disney Adventure Friends” will debut with an exciting lineup of characters all embarking on a great journey through the park. Some of the characters you will find include Nick and Judy from Zootopia, Baloo and King Louie from The Jungle Book, Jose Carioca and Panchito from The Three Caballeros, Miguel from Coco, plus Merida, Moana, The Incredibles and more!
Another beloved entertainment option will be back in 2022, the “Festival of Fantasy” parade!
This vibrant and joyous celebration of Fantasyland brings to the streets of Magic Kingdom Park dozens of disney characters and stories from Disney Princess Garden to a carnival of color presided over by none other than Mickey and Minnie Mouse.
In addition to this, you can also enjoy the new shows like Disney Enchantment, Harmonious and Disney KiteTails and celebrate Walt Disney World 50th anniversary!
