All You Need to Know About the 2020 Epcot Food & Wine Festival 1

The 2020 Epcot International Food and Wine Festival is in full swing at Walt Disney World. The Food & Wine Festival usually doesn’t start until the fall but this year’s festival opened July 15 and is setting a record as the longest Disney festival. This year the festival is called “A Taste of Epcot International Food & Wine Festival.”

Since the Flower and Garden Festival was cut short due to the coronavirus closure, the Food & Wine is sort of a hybrid festival this year. Guests attending the Festival can find special Flower and Garden Festival merchandise as well as Food and Wine merchandise.

This year the Eat to the Beat Concert Series will not take place, however, local acts Mariachi Cobre and the JAMMitors provide entertainment at the America Gardens Theatre with multiple performances throughout the day.

All You Need to Know About the 2020 Epcot Food & Wine Festival 3

The festival may seem like it’s an adults-only event, but there are things for the littles to do too! Guests can embark on a Ratatouille-inspired scavenger hunt around the park with Remy’s Ratatouille Hide and Squeak Scavenger Hunt, which has returned in 2020. Be on the lookout for statuettes of Remy hidden throughout World Showcase. You can purchase the map and stickers from select merchandise locations.

You won’t want to leave the Festival without some kind of souvenir. Guests can find festival merchandise throughout the smaller kiosk locations in Future World and World Showcase. Flower & Garden Festival 2020 merchandise has the spotlight right now but Food & Wine merchandise should be out around late August.
