Amazing Ways to Have Fun While You Wait With the Play Disney Parks App

With the advent of new technology around the theme parks, it is now more fun than ever to pass the time at Disneyland and Disney World. One of the amazing ways this can be done is through the new Play Disney Parks mobile app which is available for both Disneyland and Walt Disney World. This new addition to the Disney app family was designed with line-waiters in mind and we are excited to share a glimpse of just what this new bit of tech can do. Trust us when we say you’ll never be bored waiting in line again!

In Queue Games – (pictured above) We are absolutely in love with this feature of the Play Disney Parks mobile app. The app features games that you can only access while you are waiting in line at select attractions. In some cases, they even interact with your surroundings! Here’s a closer look:

“Off to Never Land”- Peter Pan’s Flight – – Two players are needed as you join forces with Tinker Bell to participate in a fun series of questions, stories and jokes!

“Playset Party” – Toy Story Mania! at Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Toy Story Midway Mania at Disney’s California Adventure- Help some of your favorite Pixar pals as they work to assemble the Toy Story Midway Mania Playset.

“Rocket Race” – Space Mountain – Before you blast off on this indoor coaster you can join your friends on special training missions. This game needs two- five players. It’s the perfect way to get psyched for your intergalactic adventure!

Location- Specific Experiences- In addition to the interactive games listed above, there are also a couple of experiences that can be enjoyed from specific locations around the parks check them out!

Agent P’s World Showcase Adventure– Epcot – Perfect for families wanting to explore the World Showcase with children, you can go on an around-the-world adventure with Agent P from Phineas and Ferb. This interactive scavenger hunt takes you to UK, France, Japan, Germany, China and Mexico. You can test your secret agent skills at each country and thwart the nefarious plans of the evil Dr. Doofenshmirtz.

Maharajah Jungle Trek – Disney’s Animal Kingdom – Play this game solo or with up to five additional guests as you join the Disney Conservation Fund. You’ll learn more about their inspiring wildlife efforts while at Animal Kingdom.

Music – Enjoy the songs of the parks with specially curated playlists offering toons from some of your favorite spots in the theme parks. Simply access Apple Music from the app and check out the official playlists inspired by theme park lands, characters, attractions and more! You can even gather your favorites and create your own bespoke Disney theme park soundtrack.

Trivia – Who doesn’t love a good bit of Disney trivia? With the Play Disney Parks app you can play Disney-themed trivia games and boost your Disney knowledge. The trivia questions are organized by the various areas of the theme parks. So, no matter where you are you can take the challenge.
