Budget Disney Finds - Perfect For Stuffing Their Stockings! 1

I don’t know about you, but stockings are one of those things I ALWAYS forget about. I am great about getting presents for everyone on my list and wrapping them well before Christmas, but then I’m sitting back relaxing thinking “I’m all done!” when the panic hits – OH NO I forgot to get stuff for the STOCKINGS! And of course this happens around the 22/23 of December every year, so I am usually scrambling around trying to get things together, and end up spending WAY too much money in the process. Well not this year! This year I planned ahead, scoured the stores for some bargain stocking stuffers – and have compiled a list of where to find the best budget Disney Stocking Stuffers!

Dollar Store: My local Dollar Tree was FULL of awesome Disney items! Here are the highlights: Mickey and Minnie Santa hats, Minnie glitter gel pens and other pens/pencils/crayons, a two pack of Minnie Christmas board books, packs of stickers, coloring books, Magic Towels (you know – those washcloths that are crunched into a little square and “expand” when you put them in water), playing cards, puzzles, wrapping paper, Oh – and they had Disney stockings, too!

Wal-Mart: Each store sets up a big seasonal Christmas section, typically at the front of the store, and mine was full of cheap Disney finds! Two packs of Mickey/Minnie lip gloss, Christmas Minnie/Mickey lip glosses and nail polishes, bath sets, candy – and this was just in the front of the store! Around the rest of the store I found packs of underwear/socks, sippy cups and water bottles, smaller stuffed animals, tons of reasonably priced ornaments (in the $5 range), and much more

Aldi: Now I am somewhat new to shopping at Aldi, but I have to say I have been 100% impressed so far. The quality of the food, the selection, and the service have all been awesome – plus the cashier told me last week that they lowered prices on tons of items recently to compete with Wal-Mart. I am SO on board with it ALL. Ok – enough about my new love affair with Aldi, and down to business – DISNEY business! They have a bunch of “seasonal” items that would be perfect for Disney lovers – bundles of socks, kid slippers, kid glove/hat sets, and my personal favorite (pictured above) – the Mickey/Minnie Baking Sets! They come with an adorable oven mitt (Mickey AND Minnie versions available!), a package of sugar cookie mix, and a Mickey cookie cutter – quite the deal for $3.99 I think!

Target: Target never disappoints – especially at Christmas time! Their front section of value items (formerly the dollar spot but now includes some $3 and $5 items as well) always has a bunch of great Disney character items perfect for gift giving. Socks, coloring books, notepads, marker sets, sticker packs, water bottles/snack containers, and much more!

So if you haven’t started your stocking shopping – head out to these places and grab some great deals (NOW if you can – before they’re gone!)
