You’re all ready to book a Disney trip, but you don’t want to shell out the amount of cash it’s going to take for that trip up front. Have no fear! Disney World, Disneyland, Disney Cruise Line, and Adventures by Disney all allow you to reserve a trip with a deposit and to make payments over time. Some conditions apply, though.
As long as you are not within the final payment window (which varies by venue) you can put down a deposit and make payments until your vacation is paid off. These payments can be a big or small as you want. You can also pay for your trips using Disney gift cards.
- Disney World – The deposit for Disney World is $200 (plus the total coast of travel insurance and airfare if purchased). For trips in 2015 final payments are due 45 days prior to travel. For trips in 2016 final payment is due 30 days before travel.
- Disneyland- The deposit for Disneyland is $200 (plus the total cost of travel insurance and airfare if purchased). Final payment is due 30 days before travel.
- Disney Cruise Line– The deposit for Disney Cruise Line is 20% of the total fare (including travel insurance, ground transfers, and airfare if purchased.) Thefinal payment due date depends on your country of departure.
- If your cruise is 1-5 nights, is a non-holiday sailing, and you embark or debark at a U.S. Port – Your final payment is due 75 days prior to travel.
- If your cruise is 1-5 nights, IS a holiday sailing, and you embark or debark at a U.S. Port – Your final payment is due 90 days prior to travel.
- If your cruise is 1-5 nights, you embark or debark at a U.S. Port, and you are in a suite or concierge stateroom – Your final payment is due 90 days prior to travel.
- If your cruise is 6-9 nights, is a non-holiday sailing, and you embark or debark at a U.S. Port – Your final payment is due 90 days prior to travel.
- If your cruise is 6-9 nights, IS a holiday sailing, and you embark or debark at a U.S. Port – Your final payment is due 105 days prior to travel.
- If your cruise is 6-9 nights, you embark or debark at a U.S. Port, and you are in a suite or concierge stateroom – Your final payment is due 90 days prior to travel. 105 days prior for holiday sailings.
- If your cruise is 10 nights or longer and you embark or debark at a NON-U.S. Port – Your final payment is due 120 days prior to travel.
- If your cruise is 10 nights or longer, you embark or debark at a NON-U.S. Port, and you are in a suite or concierge stateroom – Your final payment is due 150 days prior to travel.
- Adventures by Disney – The deposit for Adventures by Disney is $300 per person. The final payment is due 90 days prior to travel.
