Can I Preview Tiana’s Bayou Adventure without a Park Pass Reservation?
Don’t Miss Out! Annual Passholder Guide to Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Previews
We’re almost there! Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is set to open on June 28, 2024! Don’t miss out on the chance to be among the first to experience the enchanting adventure ride at Magic Kingdom Park. Even if Magic Kingdom park reservations for the preview dates (June 13-14, 16-20) are booked solid, there’s still a way to join the fun!

The key to unlocking a preview experience lies in the My Disney Experience app’s virtual queue system. This system opens for Passholders twice daily:
- 7:00 AM: This slot is exclusive to Passholders with a Magic Kingdom park reservation.
- 1:00 PM: Here’s your golden ticket! This queue is open to Passholders with a park reservation for ANY Disney World theme park on the preview day.

Secure a park reservation for another Disney World theme park (Epcot, Hollywood Studios, or Animal Kingdom) on your chosen preview day at Magic Kingdom. The beauty? You don’t even need to enter the park you reserved for! However, having no reservation at all disqualifies you from the virtual queue.
Join the Queue at 1:00 PM Sharp:
- Open the My Disney Experience app and navigate to the “Virtual Queues” section.
- Double-check your party information.
- Be ready! At precisely 1:00 PM, tap “Refresh” followed immediately by “Join Queue” (both buttons are in the same location). Avoid the slow pull-to-refresh method.
Heading to Magic Kingdom:
- Typically, you’ll need to enter the park you made a reservation for before visiting Magic Kingdom.
- But here’s a perk! Weekdays (June 13, 14, 17, 18, and 20) allow entry to Magic Kingdom after 2:00 PM without visiting another park first. On the weekend preview (June 16th), entering your reserved park before park-hopping to Magic Kingdom is mandatory.
The Virtual Queue Wait:
- You’ll receive an in-app notification when it’s your turn to ride.
- Be prompt! The notification comes with a specific window to arrive at the attraction.
A few Tips for Sucess:
- Plan Ahead: Secure your park reservation for another park ASAP. These fill up fast, especially during previews.
- Ensure your My Disney Experience app is updated and you’re logged in well before 1:00 PM.
- Prepare to join the queue at 1:00 PM sharp. Start a few minutes early and consider using another device for precise timing.
- Reservations are Not Guaranteed: Remember, the virtual queue doesn’t guarantee a ride. Boarding groups are limited, and not all may be called back.
With a little planning and some quick fingers, you can be among the first to experience Tiana’s Bayou Adventure! So, grab your Mickey ears and get ready for a magical adventure down the bayou!
