With all of the construction taking place over at Disney’s Caribbean Beach, it is looking like a bit of a makeshift resort these days. Old Port Royale as we’ve known it, is no longer in existence so in order to accommodate hungry guests staying on property, Disney has cobbled together some temporary dining facilities.
The dining options can now be found just outside of the central pool area in the Centertown area of the property. A tent has been erected in the area and will function as one of the resorts quick service dining locations. Here guests will be able to have breakfast, lunch (featuring on-the-go selections like sandwiches), or a dinner buffet.
The breakfast buffet runs from 6:30am – 11:30am and costs $13.99 for adults (10+) and $7.99 for children (ages 3-9). During this service, guests can choose from classic Disney breakfast offerings like Mickey Waffles, Biscuits and Gravy and frittatas.
Above is a sample of the Grab-and-Go items available during lunch which runs from 12:15pm – 5:00pm. There’s also standard kids meal options available at this time.
The dinner buffet runs nightly from 5pm – 1opm and features dishes with a Caribbean flair including a seafood selection and island inspired side dishes. The cost for this meal is $20.99 for adults (10+) and $11.99 for children (3-9).
In addition to option in the main tented dining area, there is also a food truck in the same vicinity. Here guests will find a range of hot-off-the grill specialties including cheeseburgers, fish tacos and sliders.
Before indulging in either meal, guests must pre-pay at the kiosk above to enter the area and pick-up their meals.
Because of the size of Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney has also opted to have a second food truck on the premises. This one can be found in the Trinidad North section of the park and serves up gyros and pita sandwiches.
For those looking to indulge in a drink or two, Banana Cabana Bar is also serving up drinks. For the time being this is happening out of a trailer that is stationed just across from the pool area.
A temporary seating area has been set up near the Banana Cabana Bar. For guests to relax and unwind. There is also seating on the adjacent beach.
