This summer, Walt Disney World has been full of exciting surprises as we’ve seen so many experiences, attractions and entertainment brought back! Earlier this summer, guests delighted as the popular show, ‘A Celebration of Festival of the Lion King” was brought back. We were even more excited when Disney finally brought back fireworks shows to Magic Kingdom Park and EPCOT. Now, it looks like even more entertainment is coming soon!
Wonderful World of Animation
Beginning August 1st Hollywood Studios will be welcoming back this magical light show that uses projection to light up the iconic Chinese Theater! This show takes guests on a journey of Disney’s animation history. It is going to be great having a nighttime show back at Hollywood Studios!
Beauty and the Beast- Live on Stage
One big piece of entertainment guests have been missing since last summer is the Beauty and Beast- Live on Stage show at Hollywood Studios. This popular show will finally be returning on August 15. To say we are excited is an understatement!
Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor
The hilarious Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor attraction/show will also be returning this summer! August 8, Mike Wazowski and friends will be welcoming guests back for loads of laughs at Magic Kingdom Park. This is one of my favorite Magic Kingdom attractions and if you’ve never experienced it, you should!
Turtle Talk with Crush
The Seas with Nemo and Friends attraction at EPCOT will be welcoming back Turtle Talk with Crush! Crush will return to chat with guests on August 21!
As far as nighttime entertainment goes, Disney will be adding two brand new shows on October 1st, the start of the 50th-anniversary celebrations. We did just learn that these shows will be replacing E{PCOT Forever and Happily Ever After, as these shows will be permanently retired. Your last chance to catch Happily Ever After will be September 29. EPCOT Forever will light up the sky for the final time on September 28. We are so excited about all of this awesome entertainment coming back!
