Calling all Pandora fans: a brand new way to visit the world of Avatar has just been announced. Avatar Guardians of Eywa is an immersive walkthrough experience that finishes with a live acrobatic show, and it is coming to Canada next spring. Here is a simple breakdown of what we know, and what we are still waiting to learn.
What Is Avatar Guardians of Eywa?
Think of it as a stroll through Pandora that builds to a big finale. Guests wander freely through rainforest and coastal reef environments, where interactive installations let them get close to Pandoran plants and creatures. Then the path leads deeper into Pandora and ends with a live acrobatic show about the power of connection and the spirit of life.

The creators promise a seamless mix of live performance art, a captivating story and state-of-the-art immersive technology.

When and Where Can You See It?
The world premiere is May 17, 2027 at Table Rock Centre in Niagara Falls, Canada. The show will run for multiple performances through early September 2027. After that, it is slated to travel to other venues around the world as part of the Magic Walk touring concept.
Who Is Behind It?
The experience is licensed by Disney Theatrical Group and Lightstorm Entertainment, the studio of James Cameron. It is developed by IMMEX, produced by EMM Williams Productions and designed by Moment Factory, with support from private investment and the Government of Canada’s Creative Export Canada program.
Tony Haswani of EMM Williams Productions said the premiere is “a defining moment for our company and for the future of immersive live entertainment,” and that it “marks the beginning of an exciting global journey for Magic Walk.” Jonathan St-Onge of Moment Factory, Originals, pointed to the pairing of beautiful multimedia environments with live acrobatics. Ontario’s Minister of Tourism, Culture and Gaming, Zee Hamid, and Niagara Parks Chair Graham Coveney also welcomed the show to Niagara Falls.
Is This Coming to a Disney Park?
No. This is a licensed touring experience in Canada, not a Disney theme park attraction, and it is separate from Pandora: The World of Avatar at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. If that land is where you first met Pandora, our look at what we love about Pandora and these Pandora fun facts are a fun way to revisit it while you wait for 2027.
