The Little Mermaid – May 26
Join Ariel as she discovers the human world in the live-action version of the 1989 animated classic. Actress & singer Halle Bailey stars as Ariel with Melissa McCarthy as the evil sea witch, Ursula. We’re interested to see how this live-action compares to the animated version!
Elemental – June 16
The newest Disney-Pixar film, Elemental, shows us a city where fire, water, land, and air residents live together. The main characters are a fiery young woman and go-with-the-flow guy who learn to turn their differences into water under the bridge. The animation is beautiful and the film looks really cute!
Indiana Jones & the Dial of Destiny – June 30
Harrison Ford may be 80 but that didn’t stop him from reprising his role as the archaeologist-adventurer Indiana Jones for the 5th and final installment. In this film, Indiana Jones races against time to retrieve a legendary dial that can change the course of history. Accompanied by his goddaughter, he soon finds himself squaring off against Jürgen Voller, a former Nazi who works for NASA. It’s sure to be a thrilling end to the Indiana Jones films.
Haunted Mansion – July 28
Another live-action re-make, this time of a classic Disney parks attraction. A single mom and her son hire a tour guide, a psychic, a priest, and a historian to help rid their new home of spiritual squatters. This looks like a frighteningly fun summer film!
