Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano will serve its last meal on May 10th.
Following this, Muppet*Vision 3D and PizzeRizzo will close their doors on June 7th.
But don’t worry! The Muppets aren’t disappearing entirely!
Kermit, Miss Piggy, and the rest of the gang will be relocating to Sunset Boulevard. They’ll be taking over Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, transforming it into a high-energy musical experience featuring the Muppets and some of music’s biggest stars. This will be the first Disney ride to feature The Muppets, promising a unique blend of laughter, screams, and iconic Muppet humor.
The new Monsters, Inc. land will be located on the south side of the park and will feature a thrilling suspended coaster inspired by the door vault scene from the film. Guests can also expect to find new dining and shopping experiences, and a brand-new theater show.
Disney is committed to preserving the legacy of the Muppets and is exploring ways to share the magic of Muppet*Vision 3D with guests in the future. What do you think about these changes coming to Hollywood Studios? We can’t wait to see the Muppets on Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster and the New Monsters Inc Land!
