#DisneyMomLife - Mommy “Me Time” At Disney World 1

When it comes to Disney World vacation planning, I would think it’s safe to say that many of us doing the majority of the planning are moms – not to say that the dads don’t or can’t do it – it just tends to be a task that’s mainly left for the moms to handle. Along with shopping, packing, sunscreen applying, snack distributing, tantrum prevention, and many many more tasks that fall under the “mom” umbrella. Needless to say – us moms need a vacation from our vacation before we even arrive! Dads/family – take note and make sure your mom gets a chance to enjoy some “Mommy Me Time” next time you’re at Walt Disney World – here’s some options she will love:

Spa Treatments: Disney has multiple World Class Spas right on property – and they offer tons of services from a variety of facials, massages (including prenatal massage!), body treatments including scrubs and wraps, as well as standard and deluxe varieties of manicures and pedicures available as well. Mom deserves to have her feet massaged after being on them all day at the Disney Parks – am I right??

Workout: while this may not seem like a fun use of “me time” I know many moms struggle to find time to go to the gym, and giving mom the chance to take a run or hit the hotel gym might be just what she needs to recharge her batteries

Date Night: Hey dads – hire a Babysitter for the kids and surprise mom with a Disney Date Night – dinner and drinks, dancing, live music, movies, shopping – the possibilities are endless! Here are some awesome date night ideas in case you need some planning inspiration

Solo Shopping: Disney has some truly amazing stores – but it’s hard to check them out with the kids in tow (especially the fancy ones that sell breakable stuff!). So send mom out on a solo shopping trip where she can take her time and meander around and browse through all the amazing souvenirs and shopping. I recommend Disney springs for her retail therapy – with over 100 shops she will surely find some unique gifts and maybe even a little something for herself!

Solo Resort Time: dad can take the kids to the Parks for a few hours so that mom can enjoy all that their Resort has to offer in a kid free relaxed setting. Pool/sun bathing, enjoying a drink or two at the pool bar, taking a stroll around the grounds, perusing the gift shop without little ones begging for every toy they see – sounds amazing doesn’t it?

Drink Around The World: Mom can take a trip around the world in just a few hours – The Epcot World Showcase that is! The idea is to go from country to country sampling the drinks of that culture – so really it’s a historically educational experience too! Check out the top drinks Here – and if mom isn’t a big drinker, maybe she would prefer to sample her way around the World using her sweet tooth – desserts around the World is a real thing – one that I will definitely be trying out on my next trip!

Hopefully these ideas have inspired you to send mom out on some “Mommy me time” at Disney – trust me – she deserves it! Living that #DisneyMomLife ain’t always easy – but it’s always worth it!
