Date Night Ideas For Every Kind of Couple

Walt Disney World Romance

Ah, l’amour! Nothing compares to the feeling you get when you experience something special with someone special and we think there’s especially something magical about experiencing Disney with the one you love. From romantic dinners to brand new adventures, Disney has something for every couple. The possibilities are endless and we could never endeavor to create an exhaustive list but here are just a few of our favorite ways to celebrate
love at Walt Disney World.

California Grill
Disney Resort Dining
A nice dinner is never a bad way to go when planning a special date and for us, California Grill tops the list. Imagine watching the sunset from a window table for two, enjoying expertly prepared food in a modern upscale setting. If you can take your eyes off of each other, you can enjoy spectacular views of Cinderella Castle right from your table from high atop the Contemporary Resort. Then after your meal, stroll out to the restaurant’s balcony to take in Magic Kingdoms breathtaking firework show “Happily Ever After” alongside your happily ever after. Advanced Dining Reservations at this Signature restaurant are highly recommended and can be made 180 days in advance.

Carriage Rides
Carriage Rides Romantic
Live your own fairytale with a horse-drawn carriage ride for two. Enjoy the sights of the Sassagoula River as your carriage rolls along the river bank at Port Orleans Riverside or jaunt through scenic rustic woodlands hand in hand with your love at Fort Wilderness Resort. Just like in the Little Mermaid the only question will be are you “gonna kiss the girl”? The cost is $55 and reservations are highly recommended.

Caring For Giants Tour

One of my favorite ways to spend quality time with the one I love is to have an adventure and try something new. The Caring for Giants Tour is a great way to break free from your typical routine and make lasting memories. This one hour tour takes you into one of Animal Kingdoms best rides- Kilimanjaro Safari- to get an up-close encounter with the elephants. When we say up-close we mean up-close! You’ll be within 80 feet of them! Hear from Animal Care Experts on what goes into caring for these beautiful animals and African Cultural Representatives About conservation efforts. Reservations are highly recommended and at $30 per person. This makes for a great affordable Disney date!

Couples Massage

If exotic adventure isn’t your idea of romance, head to one of Disney Worlds 6 relaxing spas for a couples massage to unwind together. Reservations are recommended and prices vary.

Disney Floral and Gifts

Romantic Disney World
If you’re looking to surprise your loved one with something special check out DisneyFloralandgifts.com. From flowers to snacks to jewelry to plushes and Mickey ears you’ll be sure to find the perfect way to say I love you. In-room delivery is available and a perfect way to create an unforgettable surprise ending to a perfect day in the parks.

Stroll Main Street
If you prefer to keep it simple, my absolute favorite romantic experience at Walt Disney World won’t cost you a thing (other than your valid Park admission of course). Put on some Mickey ears and stroll hand in and up Main Street USA in the late evening. There’s something magical about the castle at dusk. Main Street is its least crowded and you can stroll leisurely and enjoy the view, peering in the shop windows, enjoying the delicious food smells wafting through the air and just simply enjoy being together.

This list could go on forever, there is no shortage of romance at Walt Disney World and the possibilities are constantly growing. Check back soon for more ideas on romantic ideas for couples at Disney World!
