Easy Ways to Meet Characters At Walt Disney World

Mickey Mouse Fun Facts

When you are at Disney World does it seem like the characters must be playing hide and seek with you? One of the most magical things about a trip to Disney is an interaction with a character, especially if you have a favorite one.

Of course, one of the best (and easiest) ways to ensure a character meet is to book a character meal. There are many options to do so, and many different characters to meet!

Dining Experiences

Your princess fan will enjoy meeting many of his or her favorite princesses at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall. Located in EPCOT in Norway, enjoy Norwegian-inspired food while visiting with Snow White, Cinderella, Belle, Princess Aurora, and Ariel.

For the ultimate princess experience, book a table in Cinderella’s Castle and enjoy fairy tale dining at Cinderella’s Royal Table in the Magic Kingdom. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, you will meet Cinderella and other princesses as you dine.

If meeting Winnie the Pooh and his friends is a must-do, The Crystal Palace in the Magic Kingdom is the place you want to book a dining reservation! Enjoy an all you can eat buffet while bouncing with Tigger, trying to enjoy a smackeral of honey with Pooh, and protecting Piglet from a windy day!

One of the only places you are sure to be able to meet Flynn Ryder and Prince Eric along with their princesses (Rapunzel and Ariel) is by booking the Bon Voyage Adventure Breakfast at Trattoria al Forno at Disney’s Boardwalk.

Disney’s Contemporary Resort is home to the buffet-style character dining where you are sure to get a hug from Mickey, Minnie, and their pals at Chef Mickey’s! American cuisine is served at breakfast, brunch, and dinner. Be sure to make use of the sundae bar after pal-ing around with your new friends!

Who can forget ‘Ohana at the Polynesian Resort? Arguably one of the best breakfasts served family-style, Lilo and Stitch along with their other friends make your breakfast a sure-fire great way to start your day!

One of the newest character dining experiences is Storybook Dining at Artist Point at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. Meet characters from Snow White, including the Queen!

Be sure to book your reservations 180 days in advance!

Fast Passes

If you aren’t looking to book a dining reservation to ensure you have a character meeting but have the ability to make fast passes, that is another way to be sure to meet characters. Meet Ariel in her grotto, Mickey and friends at the EPCOT Character Spot  Rapunzel and Tiana and Cinderella and Elena at Princess Fairy Tale Hall in the Magic Kingdom.

These are sure-fire ways to meet the characters you are hoping for. Otherwise, it’s best to get to a character’s post early to try to beat a huge line forming!
