An Inside Look at EPCOT’s Newest Lounge: GEO-82
For almost 43 years, a trip on Spaceship Earth has whisked us to the top of that iconic 180-foot-tall geodesic sphere, giving a nod to the ancient Phoenicians and letting us dream about our future lives in an Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow. And today, you will get the inside scoop on GEO-82, the brand-new 21+ Spaceship Earth lounge! This spot completely immerses you in the flavors, views, and legacy that make EPCOT what it is today.

Ascending Into the Future
As you arrive at GEO-82 (you’ll find it near the Spaceship Earth post-show exit), the bright park surroundings just melted away. You will stepped into a softly curving hallway bathed in warm metallics and subdued lighting, which instantly set the mood for a futuristic escape.

Right away, you’ll noticed the glittering staircase, which totally reminded us of the spiraling climb riders make to the starry peak of Spaceship Earth. But, if you are eager for some delicious bites and sips, you can go for the nearby elevator to stepp into the intimate lobby of GEO-82.

The gold and bronze hues throughout the lobby and lounge give off this innovative yet super warm futuristic vibe. Comfy leather seating and vintage-style prints of Spaceship Earth, EPCOT fireworks, and even the Monorail lined the walls.

We seriously can’t stress enough how cool the walk to your table is! You’ll pass a life-sized Spaceship Earth facade, mimicking those 11,324 Alucobond tiles that make up the sphere’s iconic exterior. And at your feet? Twinkling lights that totally reminded us of the shimmering points that used to dot the ground of Future World back in the day.
Inside GEO-82

Once you step into the GEO-82 lounge, we will be greeted with a sweeping view of World Celebration Gardens, with World Showcase sparkling in the distance. The lounge itself features mid-century modern-style furniture, soft music, and those continued warm metallic tones flowing throughout the space. Guests will even be able to snag GEO-82 reservations for special seatings to watch the nighttime spectacular, “Luminous The Symphony of Us.” As the show unfolds, perfectly in sync with the color-changing lights in World Celebration Gardens and on Spaceship Earth, the inside of GEO-82 will also transform. The full musical score will play, and the lounge lighting will dim during the show to create a truly immersive experience.
Elevated Cocktails and Zero-Proof Cocktails
You absolutely have to ask the team at GEO-82 about their cocktails and zero-proof cocktails. Seriously, every element of these futuristic concoctions was so well thought out.
From the in-house created Lime Cordial syrup for the High Brow Batanga to the geodesic sphere-stamped ice cubes in the Brown Butter Old-Fashioned, no detail was left behind.

They even have a super fun GEO-82 Cocktail Key that showed you exactly how each beverage was going to be prepared. Shaken? Stirred? Large ice cube or sphere? You’ll loved deciphering how your beverage would look before we even ordered.
Plus, for all you American whiskey lovers who want to try a few options, the team also picked four unique bourbons for an exclusive Disney Select Bourbon Flight:
- Uncle Nearest Single Barrel
- Woodford Reserve Private Barrel
- Blanton’s Gold Single Barrel
- Stagg Private Barrel

You can also tried the Peach Shrub Whisky Smash with Toki Suntory Whisky, Lustau Amontillado Sherry, peach and mint shrub, and bubbles. It’s such a refreshing option, perfect for a hot summer day while just chilling with a friend.
Taking Zero-Proof Cocktails to the Next Level
The GEO-82 menu offers two zero-proof drinks with totally different flavor profiles. To kick your park day energy up a notch, the Manhattan in the Morning delivers a coffee kick balanced with smooth tart cherry and walnut bitters. Meanwhile, A Walk Through the Garden is the perfect afternoon sip; a bright and refreshing glass of bubbly citrus with a decorative spray of fennel and a lemon slice. It actually features Seedlip Garden 108 Non-Alcoholic Spirit, basil, fennel, lemon, Hella Cocktail Co. Orange Bitters, The Bitter Truth Celery Bitters, and sparkling bubbles.
Just like Spaceship Earth, GEO-82 presents the possibilities for the future. Beyond the exclusive cocktails and zero-proof cocktails, the drink menu will also feature wines unique to GEO-82, highlighting family-owned, smaller production wineries.
A Chef’s Selection of Delectable Bites

Now for foodies, a visit to EPCOT usually means diving into the freshest seasonal selections, whether you’re tasting your way through one of the EPCOT festivals or sitting right here at the GEO-82 bar.
True to form, the charcuterie board at GEO-82 features a chef’s selection of artisanal cheeses, cured meats, and accompaniments. You can enjoy Calabrese Salami, Jamon Iberico, Wagyu Bresaola, Tete De Moine, Truffle Tremor Goat Cheese, Point Reyes Blue Cheese, Cranberry Loaf, Euro Bake Baguette, Pecan-Green Olive Brittle, Peach Chutney, B&B Pickles, and Honeycomb.
Now, those pickles! We have to talk about them because they come from The Land and the recipe is inspired by Chef Robby Sayles’ grandmother. She must have pixie dust at home because her recipe is absolutely magical and the perfect addition to the board.
