They seem to go beyond fictional parameters and you really start to believe in the meaning of love. - Tangled (2010)
- Rapunzel and Flynn Rider. A bumpy begining leads to an adventure and Rapunzel and Flynn grow closer and closer. Could this possibly be the most romantic Disney film?
- Cinderella (1950)
- There is nothing more romantic than a classic, and Cinderella has always had a special place in many a hopeless romantics heart. A prince, looking for a girl from humble beginnings? I think that’s something we all wish for! And, of course, a dream IS a wish your heart makes!
- WALL·E (2008)
- It feels that this movie is often overlooked by its many other themes, but WALL-E and Eve are a matching pair that were simply meant to be.
- Beauty and the Beast (1991)
- Tale as old as time, this film was destined to make a mark in our hearts. Belle shows bravery and pure love when confronting the Beast and the Beast learns to open himself in order to save himself.
- UP (2009)
- Some may say this movie isn’t a romantic movie. It is, of course, a movie about loss but also, it is so much more than that. Carl and Ellies love permiates through the entire film even after her passing. Carl works through his grief throughout the film but you can’t help but wonder how beautiful must that love have been for Carl to start his new adventure with Ellie in his heart.
- Pocahontas (1995)
- Pocahontas finds John Smith in the middle of the crossroads of figuring out who you want to be. Breaking barriers, finding yourself – that’s what love is truly all about, ist it?
- Lady and the Tramp (1955)
- Hear me out: This may be one of the most steadfast couples. Yes, they’re dogs but Lady falls for Tramp despite his shortcomings and wiley nature. Additionally, Tramp stands by Lady through thick and thin. He defends her and remains by her side throughout the entire film
- Enchanted (2007)
- Okay, okay – this is a Hybrid movie, but romantic none-the-less. I mean, were talking about true loves kiss and Giselle unknowingly stumbles across her true prince charming.
- The Little Mermaid (1989)
- Would you give up your entire life for someone you love? If you have then even a bit of you identifies with Ariel. Eric has no idea what he’s in for when this speechless beauty approaches him on the beach. He’ll have no choice but to Kiss the Girl!
- The Princess and the Frog (2009)
- Tiana is driven and in no need of rescuing, until shes in desperate need of rescuing, of course! Prince Naveen seems to be the man for the job when it comes to giving Tiana everything she wants, but our girl isn’t interested. She is determined to do things HER way and in the end, he stands next to her and is simply happy to watch her flourish. That is love.
