Where to see Gingerbread Houses at Walt Disney World
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Walt Disney World and that means gingerbread houses are coming! Along with the festive wreaths and mistletoe, magical gingerbread displays appear at select Walt Disney World Resorts. Today, we are taking a look at where you can find all of the gingerbread displays this year at Disney World.

Every year, multiple Disney World Resort hotels embrace the holiday season by creating grand gingerbread houses or displays. These exquisite structures require months of meticulous planning and preparation, with the culinary team at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa even commencing their dough mixing for a life-size gingerbread house as early as May.
These gingerbread displays vary in size and theme. The most notable and expansive one can be found at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Here, visitors can marvel at a life-size gingerbread house, where an assortment of holiday treats, including gingerbread shingles, is available for purchase. Meanwhile, other hotels craft their unique themes and designs for their gingerbread displays. In previous years, guests have been delighted by a gingerbread giraffe at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge and a gingerbread BoardWalk Deli at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn.
Year after year, the most renowned gingerbread house is located in the lobby of Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. This life-size structure functions as a shop, offering a wide array of holiday treats, including numerous gingerbread selections. The assembly of this enormous house is a challenging endeavor.
While the overall structure of the house remains relatively consistent from year to year, Disney occasionally introduces variations in theming and color schemes. During the 50th anniversary celebration, the gingerbread house received a dazzling “earidescent” makeover, featuring colors that represented the significant milestone.
Additionally, during the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays, you’ll encounter a rather remarkable gingerbread exhibit at EPCOT. Make your way to the American Adventure to admire the gingerbread Capital City. Although the design may vary annually, it usually features gingerbread renditions of iconic U.S. landmarks.
Although Disney has not disclosed the specific themes or designs for their upcoming gingerbread displays, they have confirmed the locations where each of the hotel gingerbread houses will be featured. Excitingly, this year, a new location will be introduced at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort! Here is where you’ll find each of the delicious displays:
