Grand Floridian Resort to Transform Bar and Lounge into ‘Beauty and the Beast’ Theme

Grand Floridian Bar Beauty Beast

This fall, guests of the Grand Floridian Resort will be able to experience the new ‘Beauty and the Beast’ themed bar and lounge area. The former locations of Mizner’s Lounge and Commander Porter’s on the second floor are being completely updated to reflect four different ‘Beauty and the Beast’ themes.

A stunning gold chandelier that evokes Belle’s iconic gown will be the focal point of the signature bar. The garden room is inspired by the forest that surrounds the Beast’s imposing castle. Perfect for any book-lover like Belle, the formal library features French and baroque designs and furnishings. Lastly, there will be an outdoor patio that recalls the Beast’s romantic garden terrace.

Located right on the Seven Seas Lagoon and just one quick monorail stop from the Magic Kingdom, this new bar and lounge will be a perfect stop on any Disney World vacation.

Be sure to tie your napkin ‘round your neck, cherie, when you visit the reimagined lounge this fall. ‘Beauty and the Beast’ is my favorite Disney film and the Grand Floridian is my favorite resort, so I know I can’t wait to see what kind of magic happens when these two come together.
