How To Celebrate New Year’s Eve At Walt Disney World!

We are just days away from ringing in the new year! If you are celebrating from the Walt Disney World Resort, you might be wondering how can you welcome the new year with your friends and family? Well keep reading, because we have all the details for the New Year’s Eve celebrations around the resort:

MAGIC KINGDOM

Magic Kingdom is the most popular park to celebrate! On December 31st, the park will open at 9am and close at 1am, so you can definitely countdown to midnight with the Fantasy in the Sky Fireworks, a stunning nighttime spectacular at both 6:30pm and 11:50pm. The regular Disney Enchantment fireworks will not be shown on this day.

As for dance parties, the park has different parties in Tomorrowland, Frontierland and Cinderella Castle stage, so you will have an amazing time!

EPCOT

Another popular park to welcome the new year is Epcot! If you prefer to dance and drink around the world showcase, then this is the place to go, you will have the best time.

On December 31st the park will open at 9am and close at 1am, with a Harmonious show at 6:30pm instead of its regular 9pm showing. Then at 11:54 be sure to check out the “Cheers to the New Year: A Sparkling Celebration” for a countdown to the new year!

HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS

If you happen to be at Hollywood Studios, you can show off your dance moves with a high energy DJ dance party in front of Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway! There will also be a small countdown to 2023.

As for nighttime shows, Fantasmic! will be presented at 8pm and 9:30pm. The park will open at 8:30am until midnight.

DISNEY SPRINGS

If you are not visiting any parks on this day, you can head over to Disney Springs! These restaurant will offer New Year’s Eve dinner:

The Edison

Here you will celebrate with stilt walkers, aerialists and cabaret plus delicious food and drinks! You can make your reservation for $145-$175 per person.

Raglan Road Irish Pub

Say cheers to the new year at 7pm! Yes, that’s the midnight Irish time so you can have two celebrations, one in Irish time and the second in our time at midnight. The bubbly is free for each toast!
