One of the experiences that many guests miss out on at Disney World is the FREE interactive games that are found throughout Walt Disney World parks. These games can take awhile to complete and may not be ideal for guests who are visiting for the first or second time or only have one day at each park. However, If you have been to Disney World many times, visit frequently or will be visiting for a long, extended period of time one, you may want to consider trying one of these out. Let’s take a closer look at what the interactive games have to offer.

Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom  is a game in which you are trying to defeat Disney Villians who are trying to take over the Magic Kingdom. There are two sign up locations for this game- The old Fire House on Main Street or in Liberty Square.  Each member of your group can sign up to play and you will all receive a 5 pack of spell cards (They make a great FREE souvenir!) and  a map to the portals. There are 3 different levels of play easy, medium and hard. You use the clues on map to locate the different portals throughout the Magic Kingdom. You decide which spell cards to use and some are stronger than others. On average each mission can take 20 to 30 minutes to complete but can take longer on a busier day. As long as you complete one portal, you are eligible to receive a new pack of cards the following day (only 1 pack per guest, per day).  Don’t worry either, if you don’t have time to finish the game this trip, you can always pick up where you left off on your next (but you must have your key card!).

Agent P’s World Showcase Adventure is where you get to become a secret agent and defeat Agent P’s arch-nemesis before it’s too late! Your mission begins at one of the two signups  at Odyssey Bridge or International Gateway both located in the World Showcase at Epcot. Guests can either use their own smartphone to start the adventure or are given a “FONE”( code for Field Operative Notification Equipment). Either device will take you through different adventures and puzzles in the World Showcase. Each mission takes about 30-45 minutes and will lead you to each country where you are given locations to find, riddles to solve and help Agent P defeat Dr. Doofenschmirtz. This is wonderful way to get your kids interested in seeing the World Showcase and is just as much fun for adults as it is for kids.

Wilderness Explorers is a scavenger hunt game located at Animal Kingdom based on the movie Up! You get to complete challenges and earn adventure badges as you work your way around the park. The game can be tailored for children of younger ages. You can collect all different types of badges from the Veterinary Badge where you will help diagnose a sea turtles health issues to the Dinosaur Badge where you will search for dinosaur fossils. With over 30 badges to collect, you will most likely not complete the entire adventure in one trip. This is a great game for even first time visitors as it will help you explore the park and learn all at the same time!

Pirate Adventures: Treasures of the Seven Seas is another game located at the Magic Kingdom but only takes place in Adventureland. It is here that you will discover hidden treasures and fend of enemies with Captain Jack. You can sign up at the station located near Pirate of the Caribbean’s. You will need to find 5 different treasures and each mission takes about 15-20 minutes. There is no time limit and you can play at your leisure. The clues are fairly easy to solve and the map makes for another great free souvenir.  If guests help Captain Jack succeed in all five missions, they’ll be welcomed as part of his new crew.
