Magical Encounters: Meet Disney Characters at the Disney World Water Parks!
Did you know that you can meet some of your favorite Disney characters at the Disney World water parks?! We recently got to see some awesome characters at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon.
Naturally, Lilo and Stitch were hanging out with guests and having a dance party! They are typically located by High & Dry, just before you head over the bridge to the Surf Pool for meet & greets. They usually rotate so it is super cool when you can see them together!
We also saw Angel! She is a rare character from Lilo and Stitch and we were super excited to see her!
If you visit Disney’s Blizzard Beach, you can usually meet Goofy all dressed for water park fun. Characters will pose for photos and even sign autographs! Disney’s Blizzard Beach is currently closed for refurbishment.
Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon H2O Glow After Hours kicked off this weekend. Guests attending this special event will also have the opportunity to meet special characters. There is even a DJ dance party where guests can get their groove on with these Disney characters!
Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park
Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon is open from 10 am to 5 pm. Guests visiting can enjoy rides, water slides, the surf pool, theme food and drinks, and more! The water park is a great spot to experience on a non-theme park day. Especially on a warm, sunny Florida day!
