Although summer has just begun, the time of ghouls and goblins will be here before you know it. Fall at Walt Disney World is an amazing time to visit. Decorations transform the Magic Kingdom Park with autumn beauty, Epcot International Food & Wine festival brings tasty delights and of course, the crowning jewel of fall at Walt Disney World is Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party! This special ticketed event returns to the Magic Kingdom Park select nights this year from August 16-November 1, 2019 with even more new spookily fun festivities for the whole family.

First, let’s take a look at the new additions to the party …

New Fireworks Spectacular

The skies over Cinderella Castle will light up like a jack-o-lantern with an all-new fireworks spectacular. In this dazzling display that includes fireworks, lasers, special lighting, and projection effects to bring the story alive. During the show, you will join Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy as they go trick-or-treating, but the catch is, it’s at a haunted house. While at the haunted house, Mickey and friends will stumble from one room of the haunted house to another facing dancing skeletons, ghosts and of course some infamous Disney villains. Make sure to take some time while at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party to see this new show, it’s going to be BOO-tiful!

To enhance your viewing experience, enjoy the fireworks dessert party during Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween party. For an additional cost, you can add this reservation to your plans and enjoy delicious desserts such as chocolate dipped strawberries, specialty cupcakes, as well as some savory options all while having the perfect spot to see the new fireworks show.

All New Cruella’s Halloween Hide-a-Way

Cruella is hosting her own little party during Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party and you are all invited. Reservations are now open for this howling good event. Starting on party nights at 9:30 pm, enjoy a fun atmosphere created by music and décor. You can come and go as you please during the party as you enjoy savory hour d’ oeuvres as well as sweet treats such as Kanine Krunchy cake and Mini De Vil brownies. Beverage selections include beer, wine, and much more to wash down those tasty treats.

With your reservation, you will also have special reserved viewing for Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween parade at 11:15 pm. After the parade you can head back to Cruella’s party to enjoy more fun until 12:30 am. The all-new Cruella’s Halloween Hide-a-Way is located at Tony’s Town Square Restaurant and is $99 per person (plus tax) every Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party event night (event tickets are required). Trick-or-Treating around Magic Kingdom Park

Pick up your treat bag as you enter the party, then as you travel from land to land during the party fill your bag to the brim with candy and treats. You will find these delicious candies and snack locations all throughout the park (don’t worry the locations are clearly marked), making this the ultimate trick-or-treat for children and adults alike. Although many do dress up in costume, it’s not required … but it sure is fun! Remember while planning your costume for your night at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, be sure to the review the costume rules found Here to ensure that you have no issues once you arrive at the park.

Also, if you have a food allergy, Disney has you covered. Once you enter the party, see a Cast Member to get your teal allergy friendly bag. When you trick-or-treat around the different locations you will get a token that you can later redeem at the Allergy-Friendly Centers for your treats.

Delightful Meet and Greets

Enjoy meeting your favorite characters, including some that are dressed in delightful costumes. If this year is similar to previous parties, you can meet some ever-popular Disney Villains as well as characters (such as Moana or Jack Skellington) who only are out for these special ticketed parties. No word yet on who will be meeting this year, but we do know it will be Spooktacular!

Attractions, Crowd Levels, and more

With only a limited amount of tickets sold for each party night, crowd levels, as well as wait times for attractions, are usually shorter. Some party nights do sell out, so remember to buy your tickets early! It is important to note that while not every attraction is open during party nights, most of the fan favorites are open for your frightfully fun enjoyment.

In addition to the fireworks, attractions, and meet and greets, it is expected that Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party will also welcome the return of the popular Halloween parade, stage show as well as special food and beverage options that are available only during party nights.
