If you are a spending your winter in the cold and snowy Northeast like me, you need to find a Disney fix any where you can! I have great news for those of us in the Philadelphia area! The Franklin Institute is opening a new exhibit in March. The Science Behind Pixar opens March 12, 2016 for a 6 month stay and is sure to delight Disney Addicts of all ages! Life sized recreations or your favorite Pixar film characters like Buzz, Sulley, Dory, even Edna Mode and WALL-E will make appearances for selfies!
The exhibit will include 40 different interactive displays to guide film fans through the production process and demonstrate how science and technology turn ideas into award-winning films.
Guests will also have the chance to engage in hands-on learning experiences like modeling and animation. The exhibit will be at the Franklin Institute for 6 months, so do not miss your chance to get a little Disney in your life right here in Philadelphia!
Tickets for The Science Behind Pixar are already available for purchase online through the Franklin Institute website HERE
Exhibition ticket prices vary, with tickets starting at $7.95 for a child member (3-11 years old) and ranging up to $29.95 for adult general admission that’s inclusive of admission to the entire museum, too.
For those who are looking to check out the exhibition only, evening general admission exhibition-only tickets are available Thursday through Saturday for $19.95 (adults) and $14.95 (children 3-11).
